Paperhouse are four good ole fellas from Ballarat. They began as two little boys called trev and mike, by name christened. They noticed that together their guitars made noise when they were rad. Then Rick said, "Hey guys can I play keyboards?" mike and trev replied, "sure, as long as you kick the heroin". Rick agreed and never touched the stuff again. When they played they realised that something was missing, and that something was drums. Thou hast not drums! So they grew a drummer, and his trouble was Lachie Searle. One day, they were sitting in the Octopuss Garden, when God spoke to them, and god said play mighty rock 'n' roll for the masses so using their holy powers (including trevs beard) they wrote many songs. Also, they decided that they would never, ever go to Bendigo (There was some...unpleasantness). Things were going well, until they realised that they couldnt play mighty rock without a name. Then, one day Rick finally rose up on a flaming pie and proclaimed, Today we will be Paperhouse, and from that day hence, they were Paperhouse, and they have been ever since. After migrating to the brunswick province of Melbourne, Lachie went missing in a freak ostrich accident that can only be described as spectacular. A mysterious young gent named Nige turned up and has since been beating the skins like the primeval warrior he was once renowned for. I guess Id never been closer to my dad as I was at that moment. Ill never forget that summer.

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
