About Paper Plane Pilots

Broody and energetic, probably the best way to describe Paper Plane Pilots and their unique stage performance. Their unusual format of having a singing drummer makes for a progressive and unique sound and stage presence. In the year that they have been a four piece, their music has evolved to a style encompassing the characteristics and attributes of various music eras which has led them to be compared to Joy Division and The Horrors. Since being voted Strummerville’s best new band, they have performed across the Southwest and London headlining and supporting bands such as Babyshambles, The Subways, Baddies, General Fiasco and Stiff Little Fingers. With their dark melodies and captivating performances, they portray an interesting twist on the post-punk genre.
