You know how I like to continually promote activity that serves the greater purpose of popularizing our music and bringing it to new, and younger audiences...well, this book, Doo-Wop Pop, is a story I believe, based on Speedo of the Cadillacs that encourages interest in doo-wopp music toward youth, and furthermore, treats it as a method to inspire confidence and boost self esteem in today's urban youth. I'm with ANY idea that can help motivate and inspire youth to take interest in things, especially of a cultural nature.
This book can serve as a gift to a child, or as an interesting collector's item, especially since it really does seem to be inspired by the life of Earl "Speedo" Carroll.
