Influences
I am influenced by people that live, sing, and play from their heart and center.
I am originally from Boston but the weather and people for the last 20 years has kept me warm in Tampa. I have realized that our time here is limited. I spend a small portion of each day playing music. This part of my day has become the most important.
We live our lives so fast we cannot see what is coming. We find ourselves in a world we do not recognize and wonder how we got there. As each moment slips by we come closer to the last moment of our life. I want my last moment to bring me to a place where I have no regrets.
Thanks for everything,
Papos. .
"papos again picked up a guitar after 35 years to learn to live and play and again find a degree of happiness in self expression through music. As the organizer of the highly popular and successful “Tampa Friday Night Open Mic” papos' passion in support of local musicians is clear. In papos' words “I am truly humbled by the musicians I meet and thankful for new friendships I have made at this point in my life.” His distinctive and considerable musical talent has garnered him an appreciative and growing following both among fellow musicians and listening audiences of traditional Irish songs that he loves, or his own story-songs, delivered with a fluid guitar style and an engaging voice that draws listeners in with its honesty and strength."

Papos, You're one of the kindest souls I have came across in a long time. It's the little things that grabs my attention about a person. You have impeccable skills as a host. I loved how you saw me and two other new comers and pair us together, it made for a swell evening at Nola's. And also when we first met at Tre Amici. I loved the comment you made on your profile blog? About not having no regrets in life, that really says it all. I like being reflective more now as ever. You're interesting and have a lot going on, a life well lived. Jovonna

I enjoyed the open mic very much last nite...the folks were friendly and you did a good job on the mix...I'll try and make it back soon...thanks...Bobby
