About me: Fact or fiction, the story remains the same. Circa 1981, the origin of Papa Toe has to do with a team's dream season, a road trip to the north country and too much acid for sure.
More importantly, it has to do with failed roll modeling that transends into a bond like no other between father, son and daughter.
Life offers many paths and this is just one that was chosen.
The lesson learned?.......You get only one shot so make it count and don't be fooled by the endless bullshit delivered on a seemingly silver platter. The hand holding it is only the one that is seen while the other holds a dagger waiting for it's chance.
The only recourse is to take control of a destiny that otherwise would be owned by others.
Who I'd like to meet: People of substance in their thoughts about where they fit in this life. Thinking people, feeling people that I can gleen some insight from. Not the so-called great minds of our times but the every day Joe & Jane's that wake up every morning with intrigue and wonderment about how things will be by the end of that day.
Kudos & more to keepin' us fans connected with 'The Weekend Review' It will definately be my Monday morning cup a java......whether I am party to it or not!
FIRST UP JAWBONE Jawbone is a one-man blues/garage/punk band based in Detroit, Michigan.
His cover version of Johnny Cash's 'Get Rhythm' was included in the Mojo Magazine Johnny Cash tribute cd.
THEN TO CLOSE THE NIGHT LEFT LANE CRUISER Left Lane Cruiser is another two-piece gritty, raw, dirty blues outfit from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The depth of sound they bring is unreal.
LLC’s high-voltage blues sound is downright nasty. Blistering electric slide guitar and leering vocals distill old-school Mississippi blues down to its rowdiest essence.
whats up man we will be there and in full force...we just havent put it up on our site yet,,,I dont know if I said this before but it was great running into you at the blowout...and it was of equal if not greater value to hear your story about music...kepp the faith. -To Life- -Nate Sheeny-
