At this point in my life I enjoy employing social change through the arts. Mainly Photography and Music
THE CRUCIALITES "NO WATER"
Music
Music is an abstract thing that effects us in a ways that nothing else can. I believe that music is way for people to communicate in so many ways. It is this creative artistic power that will always end up effecting history. Artists are the key players in enacting social changes due to the fact that they bring attention to issues that may otherwise go unnoticed.
For me music is life. Music is a distinct way of conducting energy and intention into song. Music along with the arts are the key to a greener future!
It's evil and yet I still find myself addicted to it. Welcome to 1984. Funk is Peace.
T.V.: One of the greatest inventions ever known to man has been hijacked by the evil powers that be. It has been turned into a tool for greed, gluttony, and the breeding of a sick material culture where money and technology are viewed as the solution to every problem.

About me: Orin Henselyn pulls from a variety of genre's to create his fururistic and yet very retro style. He has studied under local be-bop expert Hadley Calliman, as well as world music master: Bob Antolin. Since migrating north from the bay area to attend Cornish College Orin has accomplished so much in the Seattle music community. He has played around town with a plethora of bands and musicians including (but not limited to) The Crucialites, JahSonItes, Nuffsed, Sarah Rose and The Scandals, The Spirit of Ojah, Funkscribe's Family Affair, The Tom Borg Nine, Leisure Sound, Hertical, The Potlatch, and the forever fresh "MCZ & The Albino Rhinos". He has jammed on stage with bands ranging from Marmalade, to Little Big Man, and Puget Sound System. He has recorded a track with Bob Antolin (Homeland Insecurity) where he showed off his bari sax chops. In addition Orin tracked his first commercially released song featured on "The Funkscribe's" newest album "Synthesized Soul" on the infamous "Booty Call" {Hooked up on a Hookup} which also features Dan Rappaport on Guitar, and Holly Thronton, The Funkscribe. Currently Orin is focusing in on a variety of musical endeavors running the gauntlet from his own home grown "Leisure Sound" a fusion of Ska, dub Ameriacana sound to the brand new Potlatch a fresh new experimental punk jazz project, to playing bi-monthly shows with the crowd pleasing Tom Borg Nine, a eight piece R&B funk and rock band. Orin is currently available for band or solo bookings.
Who I'd like to meet: People I'd like to meet are:radical thinkers, time travelers, people from other planets, artsy people, seensters, and folks from the Bay and Cali and from my past....................
If I had a flux capacitor I'd build a time machine I would try and meet: Coltane, Bird, Dizzy, Miles, Monk, Hendrix, Rassan Roland Kirk, Adolphe Sax (the inventor of the saxophone), and the entire population of the universe throughout time!
P.S. I would also enjoy having a conversation with some pre-historic folks, as well as people from various ancient civilizations.
