Well, first off my name is Douglas Adams and I am from Spring, Tx with 24 years of age behind me, and many more fun times in front. I went to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Tx where my music career really started. But before that I grew up listening to my father playing the guitar and singing constantly. So, without a doubt I grew up hoping and dreaming to be able to play like him and become a ROCKSTAR! So I picked it up, put it down, and picked it up, untill finally I caught on. From that point I couldn't stop and won't stop playing the guitar. I began learning every cover song that gained my attention, which were pretty easy 3 chord songs. As I progressed I got better and eventually was able to sing and play a few songs. I think the first one was either free fallin' or wild thing. I would only sing in front of my friends at first and was TERRIFIED to get on stage, no way was it going to happen, I mean my friends no problem, but on stage in front of people I don't know, yeah right. Well, that changed quite rapidly, where in the great city of Lubbock, TX I had a few, few by no means, FRAT brothers that called me, I mean forced me onstage during one of my friends set list breaks to show off my stuff. Let's just says I was shitting my pants, but took a shot or two, or three, and got up there and played my heart out. After the 3 song set, the manager of the bar called me back into his office and offered me a gig, so I did what anybody in their right mind would do, I took the deal. After that things just started falling into my lap, I got other gigs, found other members, and couldn't stand being off stage. I started writing my own music and lyrics. Of course my first, and most of my songs, were songs about love and women, but what else is there to write about right! Face it, LOVE sells, and I am only in for the BEER, BABES, and T-SHIRTS! So I wrote a few songs, got them recorded, placed them on this myspace thing a ran with the Parachute Addams band for a good 4-5 years. For those who are wondering where the HELL the name come from, it is the name of Campbell Hatch's (lead guitar/FRAT brother) favorite flying fishing lure, and just it so happened he always wanted to name his band that and my last name was addams so we ran with and man it ran well. But like they say "everything comes to an end, and man that was the to of my credit card, it was near the end, with not enough cash flow to bring it back up, bills were pilling up, I had already graduated and therefore my partying budget went way up. So I had to make a decision, which was to go back to H-TOWN (Houston) get back on my feet and then see where this thing leads. So now I am in Houston, still writing, recording, playing gigs SOLO. Who knows where it will go from here, but then what would be the fun If I knew. So I am going to leave it at that until my next big break.......... !!!!!!!!!!!!<><><><><><><><><><
