PARADISE BLUE is comprised of three veteran musicians - Doug Mullinax: lead vocals and guitars, Charles Moses: bass guitar and vocals, Kris Roxx: drums and percussion. All 3 members have professional experience in the music business and are veterans of recording and touring.
The members are from South Carolina. Since joining together in Greenville SC, the band has been a featured attraction at numerous Festivals and prominent clubs and annual events in the Southeastern U.S.
---DOUG MULLINAX is the lead vocalist, guitar player, and songwriter, with extensive experience in performing live and in studio recording. He has opened for big name acts such as The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Joan Jett, and .38 Special, Warrant and produced a music video that debuted on MTV.
---CHARLES MOSES is the bass guitarist, songwriter, and does occasional lead and backing vocals. His locking in on a groove with the rock solid drumming, form the foundation for Paradise Blue's sound. Charles was a finalist for South Carolina "Songwriter of the Year" and has recorded and played with national recording artist Aaron Tippin.
---KRIS ROXX (the mad man with the killer feet) Rejoins Paradise Blue after 13 years, Roxx was the original drummer for the band before Lofland. We welcome him back and look forward to exciting things. Roxx has many years mastering his skills in several bands such as Vision, Fools Like You and is also the cousin of the guitar/vocalist Doug Mullinax, both have shared the stage with Fabulous Thunderbirds, Joan Jett, 38 Special, Warrant and Toy Caldwell. Roxx was not part of the band when it Debut on MTV.
The band's popularity is rapidly increasing in the US, EUROPE, and AUSTRALIA. They play their own unique brand of Energetic Power Rock and Blues. The band has a NEW CD release coming out in Late Nov 2009 titled "Rev It Up", is a collection of 16 songs, This CD is packed with great music and comes out smoking from start to finish!
Major influences of Paradise Blue are: Johnny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepperd, Cry Of Love Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix, and Golden Earring.
Along with their dynamic live performances and steady increase in radio airplay, has come considerable interest from LABEL and PROMOTION Companies which are being considered by the band.
