WHAT IS PARADOX ETHEREAL

Paradox Ethereal is a message in the bottle, an idea with a life of its own and a meeting point of artists that share creation and influences.

As the initiator of the group I admit I still haven't finished sharing what haunts me; after I finish I will start again... Paradox Ethereal is an idea I've always had, something like a memory, and everything in my life pointed at this direction...

The "paradox" and the "ethereal" are "two antithetical terms, a way of life that experiences and expresses both extremes until one reaches platonic synthesis and harmony. We remember what we create… inspiration pre-exists in archetypal form eager to be fulfilled.… Sentiment and imagination prevail..." (extract from the Manifesto of Paradox Ethereal.)

All works or art presented in Paradox Ethereal follow this concept, so some careful internal tourism took place, as well as some dreamwork and sharing.

Years ago I started a mind game… I displaced the supposed attributes of an idea or creature and I placed in the empty from impressions “description” some new attributes which had to do only with the “decisive moment” of each occurrence. This helped a lot as a new world emerged… this was more realistic…and healthy. So, applying this in photography/a piece of writing we stand in front of a human attitude that becomes so mechanical that the photographer/writer does not think when he shoots/writes as he masters and handles the change in his Neuro linguistic patters, meaning that he catches the "decisive moment" spontaneously and fast , and he or she is able to understand which images/ideas conveyed escape the social, pre-defined "attributes.

The observing approach of a movement and its conveyed impression can both comprise a source of further inspiration. Only then can self- observation and purposeless pursuit alternate, only then may the utilization of one's eyes of the soul have an inverse proportion with the tendency to “alternate” With others, but never “mingle”. Are we stripped bodies following parallel routes, are we any man confronted with the revelation of nature, our very own nature? or are we images dancing in the wind after having been worn to a shadow by ecstasy to such a degree that we have been transformed into a single archetypal figure that celebrates Creation? Time provides us with an answer; it eliminates everything in an unconceivable way, though its movement is perceived nostalgically, forbiddingly and linearly. And then we are metamorphosed. The three age brackets alternate? You wonder? What a primrose path it is to judge others or hide yourself, and how hard and difficult it is to learn how to cross an isolated street all by yourself being aware that none is watching you?
