It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal or acts to improve the lot of others or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centuries of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and reistance.

Bro, I just got the BIGGEST laugh out of your comment, and it was nothing you intended. Go back to the Enemy Blog and see why. Your blog rocks, by the way!
Hey Tyler, thanks for the comment. And I agree! The Dark Knight has some very interesting commentary about the “real world.” One thing I took away is, there are two sides to every coin. If you look at the Joker’s mission versus his results, the writer’s believed in the good inside people even though darkness tried to force them to do terrible things. The boat scene is the best example. On the flip side The Batman did inspire people, however, the movie cautioned us to be responsible with that inspiration, or the sad and fatal lessons learned from the Batman wanna-bes might be the result.
Jeff Skoll, founder of eBay and the movie maker who created Syriana; Good Night, and Good Luck; Murderball; An Inconvenient Truth and others had a mentor who was fond of saying, “Bet on good people doing good things.” I like that. I’d like to live that way. The Batman and the movie followed that premise and the Joker was the darkness so we could recognize the bright hearts that shone through the citizen’s of Gotham. Just my two cents.
Mr. Prime, i was curious as to your thoughts on the new Batman movie: The Dark Knight. I'm not just curious because of the "superhero" thing but the overall themes play a very very relative role in what I see as your mission/struggle and what each of us struggles with: What people will do because of Fear, Greed; what Needs to be done based on what should. It has a very rewarding though gloomy message and I believe (if you haven't seen it) that you'd appreciate it much. Thanks, dude. Keep doin' what you do.
