| General | Our interests obviously lie within the paranormal. We take a special interest in debunking the false claims of activity that seem to infest the internet. This is not to say we're all about being skeptical....far from it. Our intention is to weed out the clutter that keeps paranormal research in the realm of the pseudo-science.
We enjoy exploring every aspect of paranormal research, which is not limited to ghosts & hauntings.

About me:

The objective of the Paranormal Investigators & Research Association is, simply put...to investigate and research claims of paranormal activity. We are a fact-finding, evidence-collecting, common-sense using team trying to understand ghosts and hauntings through equipment and research in the sciences.
We do not promote the use of psychics, as they are an unproven "science", just as the investigation of paranormal activity is as well.
We are not scientists. We are normal, everyday people from various backgrounds who are doing our best to learn what we can about this strange phenomenon.
Our organization takes a very serious look at all evidence. This means ours, yours and that which is displayed on other sites, Television Programs and Documentaries. We believe in promoting the truth, not propaganda.
If you send us evidence to review, we'll give you an honest answer. (This may include answers that you don't want to hear) We are not in the game of telling you want you'd like to hear, we'll tell you what we think...and exactly why we think the way we do. Please, never hesitate to ask or question our ideas. We are human, so we are sometimes wrong.

Who I'd like to meet:
Our team consists of serious-minded individuals that come together in order to investigate claims of paranormal activity. We are not ones to believe in psychics, that every little noise is a sign of a ghost or that the billions of dust particles photographed continuously are "orbs".
I'm looking for other investigators, ghost hunters and teams that share our philosophy in sharing ideas, techniques and advice. We also welcome constructive critisism on our evidence and techniques (since we also offer it as well).
