In case anyone missed it, Parallels announced a brand new product earlier this week which changes the face of virtualization on the personal computer: Parallels Workstation Extreme.

For the first time, virtual machines can be assigned the full power of individual graphics and networking hardware. Native access to the PCI slots in your workstation. Parallels Workstation Extreme is designed for high-end users who need to use graphic intensive applications like 3D modeling; something which virtualization has been unable to handle until now. While the focus at the moment is on high-end systems, the technology is going to change a lot of things for the future of virtualization everywhere.

    There's a blog on it here: http://blogs.parallels.com/betweenthelines/2009/03/parallels-innovation-its-extreme.html

So I was downtown Seattle last weekend and this bum on the side of the road off 1st street gave me this poem. I'm think about using it in a song but not to sure if I should or not. Let me know what you think of it... I'm also still looking for a drummer. Let me know. The good one's are always hard to find.

Midnight of a brave soul advances on the page of a burning book to heal the words of a hart while the eyes that read invite the most serene light to wash away the simple spell of hate on the dark cover of a noble letter.

We have Twitter... for those who wanted to follow our every move, our deepest most intimate thoughts; including that song we had stuck on our collective head but couldn't remember the name.

Any suggestions as to the snazzy look of this MySpace page? The spacey one is a default theme but it's not bad as a placeholder, imo.

I didn't think that Parallels could get any better, but you did it.
    Thanks. Love the new update.

I enjoyed Jason Krillich's presentation at the Silicon Valley Apple Users Group meeting in June on 3.0. Please tell him that I said thank you!

SCHWEEEEET! I made your Top 8! Hope all keeps rokken like Dokken in the virtualization world! I love the fact that I can still operate the ol' Windoze with your software! Makes my creative endeavors all the better. I am working on some graphics for a Genesis tribute band Hogweed (here in NY) and I love using Xara Xtreme but they haven't ported it to the Mac (yet?)... Check out a few still shots from the upcoming multimedia concert here and let me know what you think!: www.ralphlambiase.com

As a serious web developer, I applaud you for making my life much, much easier.
Upon getting my MacBook, I was instantly impressed with how much faster it handled PHP and equally scared that it didn't run VirtualPC. Without that, I couldn't test my web sites in IE without switching computers.

Parallels Coherence Mode has made creating cross-platform web applications a breeze, I can test on Firefox, Safari and IE7 on the same screen, at the same time!

    Thank you parallels!!!

Parallels ROCKS! I must say, this coherence mode is a bit freaky... It makes me feel like I am seamlessly using my fave PC apps again on my MacBook (almost too seamlessly)! EEEeeeeekkkk! But seriously, I am glad you've made my investment in Xara Xtreme still viable. Thanks for making it happen! Cheers!

I love Parallels! The new coherency feature is awesome! I only wish Linux was supported better. I don't expect Coherency to work with it, but mouse sync would be great.

I am the first...thanks for all the great things Parallels has allowed me to do in my financial planning practice. I need USB 2.0 support!!! Welcome everyone to the revolution.
