It all started in late
2008, when Luis (guitar) first met Mercedes (keyboard/vocals) in Baixa Chiado, Lisbon.
They met each other online with the intent of making music together. Soon they started to work on covers,
beginning with Muse and later with the Smashing Pumpkins song "Disarm".
It seemed like an interesting experiment that was about to show if "jazz metalhead" Luis and "alternative
rocker" Mercedes would be able to cooperate through their differences in musical taste.
As it turned out in time, the project was working well and so Luis decided to find a bass player to join the
group.
That was when a friend joined the Band, Pedro (aka Psi) as the bass player. Parasomnia Noise had been
created.
From that moment on the newformed band decided to work on originals and continue doing a few covers for fun
and tribute such as "Tainted Love", by Gloria Jones and "Hurt", by Nine Inch Nails.
November 2009, after a few auditions for a drummer we finally found what we're looking for.The magical three closed the band's gates at the number of four.
