THE LOGLINE:
18 Americans battle each other, the elements, and a sadistic host in this over-the-top parody of "Survivor."

THE PREMISE:
TOSSED OFF is an aging network TV program, in its 25th season and facing a ratings hemorrhage. To spice up the show, the network has given the host, Mike Tanley, complete autonomy... not a good thing to give a psychopathic sadist with a penchant for hookah pipes and Pop-Tarts.
Eighteen Americans find themselves on Pariah Island, told that they must outwit each other and last 40 days, in order to win a $1,000,000 prize. Some of the contestants are in it for the money, others for the fame, and others -- who were kidnapped when the producers failed to get enough "voluntary" contestants -- just want to go home.
While host Mike Tanley devises increasingly bizarre and maniacal challenges to help "thin the ranks" each week, two contestants -- Cara and Charley -- find themselves falling in love, despite the chaos surrounding them.
Each week one contestant is lost to Fate -- either voted off, killed or taken hostage by angry local natives -- leaving the audience to wonder:
Who will be left standing next week?
Who will win the $1,000,000
Will Cara and Charley hook up?
Will Mike Tanley finally explode in a psychotic rage?
