My musical abilities came at the early age of 5 playing the harmonica in talent competitions. In my early teens, I became a band nerd playing the saxophone. At that time, I also enjoyed learning to play guitar. It wasn’t until a junior high school talent show that I helped form a band. After the talent show, we were invited to play on the “Big Stage” at our towns fall festival. From then on I have played in different bands covering Top 40’s music to entertain crowds. In 2001 I helped form the band “Out of the Blue”, which became the house band at Coyote Joes, a nightclub in Charlotte, NC. There I played the keyboard and fiddle opening up for many national artists such as Gary Allan, Keith Urban, Charlie Daniels, Rascal Flatts and many more. I still enjoy performing many of the older tunes as well as the new

Jeffrey D. Fincham, the newest addition to Paris started playing at a young age. Playing banjo in a family band based in northeast Ohio. And at eighteen joining a touring bluegrass band, The Hotfoot Quartet toured mostly in Canada and British Columbia. And with a bluegrass back ground the transition to country was easy. Playing guitar now, He has shared the stage with many bands and played all over the east coast. Also adding yet another vocal to the band as well as banjo.
Jeff Bolin-Music has been a big part of Jeff Bolin’s life since he was a youngster. As a small child he watched and listened to his mother play the piano and organ for the church his family attended. Born and raised in Kings Mountain, NC Bolin began playing the bass guitar with a gospel group at the young age of twelve. In 1986, Bolin joined The Regals, from Spartanburg, SC., and met a young lady who would later become his wife. Bolin and The Regals traveled across the Southeast for the next twelve years performing in churches and convention centers. During that time, Bolin met a young man, Kelly Paris who joined The Regals and they formed a great friendship. After taking a break to begin a family, Bolin joined the Horizon Award nominated group David’s Heart. Currently you will find Bolin playing the bass, keyboard, drums and running sound for his church, as well as running sound for school functions and other outings. Bolin also stays busy caching little league baseball, basketball and football as well as running his own business. Bolin’s goal at this time is to continue playing bass guitar for PARIS.
Richard Calhoun was practically born with drum sticks in his hands. He began playing the drums at the ripe age of 4 and has since played a wide variety of genres including country, rock, contemporary christian, oldies, beach, jazz, big band, etc... He was the drummer for Nashville recording artist Jimmy Wayne and has also played with Trans Siberian Orchestra's Kelly Keeling in addition to taking on numerous studio projects. "I am so excited to become a part of such a wonderful group of guys" says Calhoun. "I have performed with some very talented musicians and these guys are no exception." Calhoun recalls getting a phone call from Paris' lead singer, and namesake, Kelly Paris about the opportunity to join the group. "When Kelly called I knew right then and there that I wanted to be a part of it. I have known Kelly for a long time and consider it an honor to be on the same stage with such a talented vocalist. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the musical abilities of Kelly and all of the other guys in the band and I look forward to many good days ahead with this group".

Kelly is currently trying his hand at country music and formed this group with one of his co-workers Jordan Cody after discovering he could sing and play guitar. After discussing the idea of starting a band Kelly contacted some of his friends (Drummer) Richard Calhoun and our original (Lead Guitar) player Tim Allen who he used to play with years ago as well as (Bass Player) Jeff Bolin. Thus Paris was born after the first few practices together we knew we had something special. Paris has been entertaining crowds since April of 2005 performing at such venues as the Cleveland County Fair (Shelby, NC), Hog Happening Festival (Lincolnton, NC), and Denver Days, (Denver, NC) Down Home Festival (Bessemer City, NC), Birkdale Village (Huntersville, NC) as well as several local area restaurants and private parties. Paris and Cody then learned of another co- worker that was a musician Matt Burgess (Keyboard, Fiddle and Vocals) and asked him to sit in on a practice one day when he started playing we were all blown away with his abilities both vocally and musically. Matt Burgess is an extremely talented musician and is also a former member of the band Out of the Blue (the house band at Coyote Joe's in Charlotte, NC). He has also shared the stage with many of today's top country music artist in his time at Coyote Joe’s. Matt Burgess then introduced a friend of his Jeff Fincham to the group who is now the new (Lead Guitar) player he is also well seasoned musician and is no stranger to the stage. Fincham has toured with several bands and performed at a lot of different venues across the country. Fincham also brings another vocal to the group. PARIS is currently playing some local festivals, restaurants and private parties in an effort to polish their show before taking it to the next level. We hope to soon become a staple of the greater Charlotte area music scene and make a name for ourselves as one of the premiere country music groups in the region.
