PARISH GAP offers a broad variety of pop-rock musical sounds, including many original compositions collected over a thirty-year performing career. Parish Gap has toured extensively in the US and Canada, playing the very best and most popular listening and dancing cover tunes collected along the way. Its eclectic and ever-changing blend of styles, ranging from rock 'n' roll to easy listening, jazzy to folk, and blues to country, takes the listeners on a delightful journey through song.
If dancing is what the audience desires, they can easily put their focus on time tested classic dance songs, mixed with their own original, tasteful, and toe-tapping dance numbers. If the crowd is more interested in listening and appreciating great vocal and instrumental presentations, the band pours out concert quality songs that mesmerize with mood and grace that can be felt by everyone who hears them. Discerning audiences always appreciate the flawless professionalism this seasoned group brings to the stage from their years of experience and collaboration. Parish Gap provides uncompromised quality, variety, and taste in a musical experience appreciated by all who hear them from the very young to the very old.

The band consists of:
Tom Wright on guitar, harmonica, and vocals, and Bob Rause on keyboards, bass, and vocals. They have been an inseperable musical duo since they met in high school in the Chicago area. Together they comprise the heart and soul of Parish Gap's unique sound and presence. As a songwriting and performing team, their seamless sound creates music that they like to describe as "Art Rock". Music that brings emotions to and paints pictures in the minds of the listeners. Etherial mood and pure magic in the air.
Catherine Wright has honed her singing and performing skills in many choirs and acapella groups and as the lead singer of Parish Gap. The beauty of her voice and her dynamic performance style never fail to impress. She knows what she wants to do and she delivers!
Steve Down, who artfully provides the heartbeat of the group on drums. He is an extraordinary percussionist and delivers the solid, lively beat that gets people's toes tapping and feet moving to the music. His talent and sheer power as a versatile rock 'n' roll drummer will knock your socks off!
Hey Parish Gap If you have a minute, please come check out the new song Alex Hirsch wrote after reading Einstein's private manuscripts and quoting his memoirs directly. The song is called, The Stormy Seas of Time and features Ken Oak on the Cellos, Bionik on the Drums and Production, and of course, Alex Hirsch on the guitars pianos and singing. And remember, all it takes is 3 little dollars to get any of his full albums at www.keywinsproductions.com.
A fair price for up to 17 songs! Finally, good music that is priced correctly, not another record company rip off!

Hey Parish Gap! Come check out the new video people are talking about. A video about one of life’s most basic struggles, namely the struggle to communicate with, understand and relate to one another. The song is called “Your Vision” and if you like what you see and/or hear, please consider telling someone else who you think will like it also. Or at least leave a genuine, heartfelt comment. Here it is now!
hard to believe that this band has come so far. I remember going over to Bob's house in monmouth and falling asleep to Hellraiser while my dad and the band created inspirational songs and lyrics in thier garage turned stuido.. awesome to see the band all together.

well, the Dutch Bros gig isn't being set up by us. A touring band from Salt Lake City Utah (Love You Long Time) whom we are playing with, are the ones who have made the phone calls/etc... And Dutch Bros. isn't that big, its a coffee shop, so it wasn't totally built as a concert venue, but it does have a stage Not as big as Oddfellow's stage however. I actually think that playing outside during the Summer is an even better idea! Do you know of any good places to do that? I know people have done outside shows at Central Park, and OSU, but if you have any ideas, let me know.
we could always do it at good ole oddfellows... or if we wanted to settle for not paying anything, then i'd say either Dutch Bros. on Monroe, or where do you guys normally play?
hey dude! thanks! You guys were AMAZING at the battle of the bands! I had so much fun listening to you guys, it was a thrilling experience! Maybe we can play together sometime again?
