My contribution to the French festival "Un son par la". Used to replace
the original music of the movie LEMMING from Dominik Moll.
About music:
I began music at the age of 5 by taking piano lessons with a private teacher and 10 years later did my first musical compositions by using sequencers and hardware synthesizers. Then, I studied harmony, counterpoint and other musical techniques by self-taught. I am now working as a freelance composer/producer for movies, contemporary dance show, radio jingles and all interesting musical experiences.
Education:
I studied Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Paris and did my 2nd year of Master of Science in the "Institute for music/acoustic research and coordination" called IRCAM (Paris) where I studied Acoustic, Digital Signal Processing and Computer Science applied to music. I'm now working as a researcher in the french "Musical Research Group" GRM where I prepare a Ph.D. A part of my work is to find an interactive process for separating what Pierre Schaeffer called "Sound Objects" in an audio document
