New album from Paris!
On September 27 our 3rd album will be out, titled “The Landlord is kind enough to let us have our little sessions”.
It’s been 2 years since are last record. We’ve been on the road in Sweden and Germany, but we have also been writing new songs. Some of them you will hear on the album.
We decided to bring in a guest artist: Nicklas Stenemo from The Mo lends his vocals on ”Take a chance on romance”. Needless to say, we are very proud of this collaboration.
“The Landlord is kind enough to let us have our little sessions” is recorded in Mattias Living room, just like our two earlier albums. (For the neighbour’s sake the drums are mostly recorded in a studio.) Being at home makes us feel free to do exactly what we want. And that is what you will hear, on the album.
Also, for the first time since our demo “”Greatest hits vol. 2”, we are releasing the material on our own label: Parismusic.
Towards the fall we will begin a new tour. Although we love our living room sessions, nothing is more important to us than getting out there, and play our songs for the people who relly love us. Check out tour dates here or at www.myspace.com/parissthlm.

Stockholm based Paris emerged on the Swedish indie-pop scene 2003 and
quickly became one of the most written about debutants. When releasing
their first album they had already done over 100 gigs, sold thousands of
demo records and established a faithful crowd of fans.
The music is pop with catchy melodies and direct and honest lyrics.
The influences are sixties pop, seventies disco, eighties synth and the
indiepop of the nineties.
Paris are made of the two lead singers and songwriters Annika Mellin &
Emma Nylén, who also plays guitar & keyboards, and Mattias Svensson and
Johan Efraimsson on bass & drums. Johan was replaced by Oskar Kvant in 2006. Paris records their albums at home in Mattias livingroom studio. Releases: Paris -"Les amis de paris" -EP 2003, Paris -"Yellow eden" -Debut album 2003, Paris -"Secrets on tape" -Album 2005.
