   The Park's Blurbs
About me:

The Park Nightclub, situated next to the Camelot Theme Park, Charnock Richard, near Chorley. An infamous club back in the 1990's with a massive capacity, regular big queues, coaches from everywhere, quality interior, the very best music, excellent sound system, excellent DJ's, and Resident DJ Phil Meredith was typical of 'The Park' back in the early to mid 90's.

Many happy memories I have from nights at The Park as a clubber / raver, great atmosphere and the very best party people.

Around 1991 and 1992, you had Thursday nights with Nuero, Spice, Mo'clean etc. plus the All Dayers.

Then in 1993, the Dance nights moved to Friday hosted by Phil Meredith & guest DJ's playing Upfront House & Garage. Through 93, 94, and 95, each week you could gaurantee that The Park would be rammed with clubbers enjoying the music (and that strawberry flavoured fog).

Sometime around 1994, the 'Joy' and 'Classic' nights at Park Hall started hosted again by Phil Meredith, with appearances from the finest DJ's the North West had to offer at the time. The 'Classic' nights mainly incorporated Old Skool House.
Each night boasted:
'Joy' brings you the finest blend of past and present anthems under one roof.
'Classics' - Turn back the clock to the very best of what the early 90's had to offer. It's nothing short of a fulfilling and electric night.
2:00am came and all the clubbers that had danced the night away at The Park would then congragate at the services, happy times!
Saturday nights at Park Hall in the early 90's played pretty much the chart dance, with regular appearances from the TV show 'Hit Man & Her', which used to go out live on TV early hours of Sunday morning.

Happy times where had at Park Hall, so if you were a regular clubber / raver at The Park, then please add me as a friend, and if you have any photos, flyers or some of the Hit Man & Her shows then please get in touch and I'll host them on this myspace.

Thanks for reading.
