   Parking Lot Films.'s Blurbs
About me:
Parking Lot Films began in 1999 with the short form comedy concert film "Times Square", after "Times Square", Parking Lot Films released "The Wrong Fortune Cookie" in 2002. "The Wrong Fortune Cookie" a quirky romantic comedy, played wordwide and won an LA short film award. This was followed by co producing the quirky indie film "13th Grade" in 2005 which Aint It Cool News called "Fun". This was followed by the rhyming, corporate America comedy "A Deeper Shade of Soul" in 2006. In 2008, "LEAF" was released to great acclaim. "Leaf" is a bio pic docu drama about infamous NFL rebel Ryan Leaf. It is currently playing major cities and should soon be expanding it's release. Please stop in frequently and keep an eye for "FUTURE SCREENINGS", as we are landing in many morecities very very soon. See you all at the theater. Here's a recent interview for the movie on NFL TOTAL ACCESS Here's the trailer in it's entirety that was just featured on NFL TOTAL ACCESS. The "official" teaser trailer: and the original...old school pre production trailer (Thanks for the 41,000 plus of you that watched this one!)

hey, thanks for the add Tim.

I think the story of Ryan Leaf is incredible.

here's a guy that was built up during high school and college and was the big man on campus, and even challenged one of the greatest Quarterbacks ever for the first round pick. Even projected by some to be the greatest QB EVER!

but his attitude and work ethic lacked and so began one of the most epic falls from grace I've ever seen.

Its a shame to see all that talent go to waste.

But it sure does make for a great story.

and if you ever need an extra in Tennessee I'm your man!

haha

thanks
-matt

Ryan Leaf, the legendary NFL quarterback bust, was placed on leave today from his position as quarterbacks coach at West Texas A&M. ESPN's Joe Schad reports that the suspension came after Leaf asked one of his players for a painkiller.

Presumably Leaf was asking for something a little stronger than Tylenol or Advil. What isn't known is how the incident came to light. Did somebody overhear the question? Did Leaf get a guilty conscience? Did the player narc on his coach?

The latter seems to be the most likely. I'd imagine it has to be a little strange to play for Ryan Leaf. Anytime the coach critiques a player, the kid must be thinking, "Dude, you're Ryan Leaf. What can you tell me about quarterbacking? I was at that game when you went 11-26 with two picks and threw a pass that hit your center in the thigh. And you're telling me to 'keep my wits under pressure.' Just like you did when you flipped out on that reporter, right?"

Leaf, who also coaches the school's golf team will be on leave "indefinitely."

If the incident is true, it's not too surprising. After all, Ryan Leaf never was very good at trying to score.
