- Conversation overheard at Parking Offence's Buffalo bar gig
Parking Offence orginates from a joke made on a rainy Sunday evening in a pub called the Head of Steam in Newcastle. Since then the band has grown shrunk grown, going from 2 piece bass and drums to a 4 piece with clarinet, hand percussion and girlboy vocal harmonies. With a mission to make music that is original, PO have played just over 10 gigs around London in the last year and have a string more dates coming up, with plans to jump into the studio soon. In the meantime you can enjoy their demos and feel the full force of their marvelousness at their appearances.
great news! yes, some seriously scary dancing tomorrow night...pop classics after heavy DIY bands. PERFECT! (nice tunes on your page too.) look forward to seeing y'all there. sarah. x
