    You guys have rallies and protests against the war and I was wondering if you protested anything else, such as the BP Plant dumping toxins into Lake Michigan. HOpe your cause is heard around the world :-) Its nice to see people come together to stand up for what they beleive in!!

    The word peace is taken in a different light these days. Yea, it means the lack of war, but when people hear peace thing usually think more like world peace not peace from the current military action. The concept of war time and peace time is skewed. Its in part do to the distancing of the war idea. It becomes something in the media, something happening "over there," and it makes the idea farther from the person. They feel that if it isn't in thier direct little bubble, then it doesn't matter. It nullifies it. It makes it ok. Its like "Ok, theres a war, people die, but i'm not directly influenced by it so i dont need to worry about it. Those people that protest it have had family or friends that died. They can protest it." Well, guess what. You are influenced by it. By that logic, we as country should stay out of the internal affairs of other countries. Which we fail to do. Unless of course our own die. Then, you say well what about September 11. Its not even about who did it anymore. It was a setup. Period. End of Sentence. Look at the facts. You were tricked. Its ok. We all were. The neocons tricked us. I guess they deserve credit. It was a work of genius. Now its time to fix this mess. It is time to bring the troops home. It is time to impeach the people in power that were involved. It is time to see the persons responsible tried in a court of law. It is time to see this country back to the way it was supposed to be, FREE. It is time to end this.
