Park St. Productions formed early 2003 with one goal, to capture the original spirit of house music....... Soul!
Park St. Comprise of members Richard Pring, Ceri Howe, Kai Jolly & John Revelle.
Their first single 'Language of the Soul' was released on London label Opulent Grooves in 2004 and featured a remix by Word of Mouth with support from The Groove Junkies, Audiowhores & Ben Watt on this track.
Other releases for Bristol label Striking Hand Music include 'Blackground Music', 'The Sunday Joint' and 'The Circular Shots E.P.' All receiving rave reviews not just for the Park Street-isms but also for the fantastic remixes by Domu, Alex Attias, Danny Bird and Kevin D.
Fast forward to 2006 and the Park Street 'Sermon' remix of the Groove Junkies record
"Oh Lord" on Morehouse Records is released, and supported by DJ's the world over.
During 2007 they collaborated with the lovely DIANA WAITE (Soul Central / Applefunk / Clean Cut Records) on some projects. The first of which, a track called 'Pressure' which was released on Bristol label Double Shock Recordings in time for the WMC in March 2007. This features a couple of mixes from Soul Heaven resident and Soul Central producer Andy Ward and also Duffnote Records honcho, Richard Earnshaw.
Another track called 'You Think You Know' featuring Diana was released on Reelgroove Records. DJ Meme out of Brazil, and Fabio Bacchini to name a few providing the remixes on this amongst others. The Meme vocal mixes featured on a few compilations including 'ES Paradis - Ibiza by Night' and Housexy - 'Summer In The City'.
In the winter of 2007, the next single with Diana was released on MoD Recordings called' That Feelin'. This is Park Street's most successful record to date, this also featured on the Housexy 10 and PURE mixed by Mr Mike.
The final single with Diana called 'Sometimes' was released on Look At You records in early 2008, and recieved support from DJ's Matt Caselli, Fabio Tosti & Craig Bartlett to name a few.
2008 has been busy remix wise for Park Street. They have put their take on tracks for H&H Soul Survivors (Beat Monkey), Souldynamic (Sunsoaked), Dawn Tallman (Slaag Records), Roed Svensk (Reelgroove), Yuriy Poleg (Metrogroove) and Sullee & Isabella Fructuoso (Nitelife).
