Park - A History....
A long time ago, but not so long back as to witness a changing of monarch or the invention of the wheel, a musical revolution was in its infancy. For in the dirty, polluted back streets of a town called Leigh was a lonely garage. But within its unassuming exterior were the foetal gruntings of Park!
These brave musicians could not be contained playing riffs and beats amongst the lawnmower and compost bags that resided beside the snare, and were soon invited to form the back-bone, the nerve centre of a band with balls!
In a smokey town pub was a shadowy figure singing karaoke favourites, but he was more than this, he needed a platform from which to soar (musically, of course... all you damn hang-gliders).
Park was a reality now, but had two vital pieces missing. So, we went to the pub.... As if the gods had some divine plan, as if the fates were working for our endeavours, as if drunken people are somehow drawn to one another, a slurred chance introduction gave us our missing elements. We now had bass... We now had rhythm... Who could ask for anything more?
And so we wrote and wrote and drank and fell over and wrote about that, y'know, important stuff. Onwards we ventured to the rehearsal studios to bring our sound to life. For years we have toiled and troubled until one day we shrieked "It's alive" in a Frankenstein homage. Our music is now your music, it is now out there stalking your senses... Ladies and gentlemen, the time of reckoning is here... Rock n' roll is back, for we are Park, and this is what we do..... (ish.....)

PARK, Please note the new RecordScout.com website is live! We have so many new features all aimed at unsigned, and signed bands looking for valuable exposure. Previously it was just a directory for unsigned bands but our new launch includes MP3 and Video exposure as well as photo galleries. Encourage your fans to sign up and vote for you. When we go live with our national radio coverage the charts will be announced weekly! Unfortunately previous bands and artists will have to set up an new account from scratch but it is worth it!
Hey guys. Question for you. I'm going to start a podcast showcasing the new music I have found and I'm wondering if I could obtain your permission to play one of your songs on this podcast?
The podcast will be downloadable, all for free but I do not want to be using your music without you knowing and your permission
