My 5 grandchildren have to be No.1! Cooking, Painting, drawing, poetry, all sorts of crafts including designing & making greetings cards, Reading is a passion of mine, (must be that 'Need-to-know part of my nature)! I get so engrossed in the books I read and find it very relaxing! My computor keeps me in contact with so many family and friends whom I care about but don't get to see on a regular basis, it also opens up a whole new world of interesting subjects and places to visit without the need to pack or travel anywhere, I learn something new every single day!

Fleetwood Mac, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Cliff Richard, Westlife, Tony Hadley, all Rock 'N' Roll, Gloria Estefan, Boy George,Classical especially Andrea Bochelli, (I call this my Goosebump music)! In summer 2007 I became an Amy Winehouse fan. West Life are also a fabulous group of young men you only have to listen to 'I'm Already There' & 'I Wanna Grow Old With You' & I know you'll weep! I'll listen to any music at any time except Heavy Metal!
Movies
Far too many to choose from as I am a big Film (Movie) Buff! One of my all-time favourites is 'Because you're Mine' starring Mario Lanza, 'Girls Night' starring Julie Walters simply because of the combined English & American storyline & of course because I LOVE Las Vegas having visited on 6 occassions. I will also watch Any film starring Richard Gere or Dustin Hoffman.
Television
Coronation Street, Eastenders, Emmerdale, Deal No Deal, Documentaries (True Life Situations), Dramas (both fictional and True Life), Loose Women(so Funny)! Comedy, The Biography channel and many Films. I am a bit of a TV nut except for the dreaded SPORT! Come on girls stick with me here, don't be chicken!
Books
Too many to name but my favourites are Biographies & Auto-biographies of which I have read many. I'm not interested in Sci-fi or Horror stories.
Heroes
My surgeon Mr. Elrabaa & his team who saved my life in 2005 Ever Grateful I owe them all sooooo much! I got to attend my sons wedding 5 months later which was something I never imagined I would be able to do. I kicked the big 'C' out of my body and have been in remission for over 3 years, thank you God! Since my recovery from Cancer I have had the great pleasure of attending my middle son Roberts wedding to Sally such a lovely lady! They've given me the gift of another precious grandaughter Amy who is now 22 months old, how lucky can one person get? It doesn't get much better than this!!!!!!
About me: Married to Les for over 49 years, together 52 years which is a miracle in itself! We have 3 sons Paul(44)Robert(40) Neil(38)in Feb 09. We have 5 wonderful grandchildren the eldest our only Grandson Ben is (19), my 4 Grandaughters are Emily (17), Olivia (8), Abigail (7) and our latest Grandaughter baby Amy born on the 26th April 2007 now 22 months old. They all bring us so such happiness and pride! I'm a British Senior Citizen who is extremely family orientated.

I have extended family living in America for over 34 years my sister Irene, my Niece Karen and Nephew Geoff, all of whom I miss very much! I also have some great long-time friends living there.
I'm a very arty crafty person who loves nothing more than creating & designing with all types of fabrics. I love poetry, reading, writing stories and my computor. I also love to play bingo (for my sins)!
The most dreadful thing I recall was 9/11, I have a great affinity with America and the American people.
I love most English Soaps although I know it sounds very sad and uncool! I also love all animals particularly cats and dogs.
There's nothing I like better than sharing a meal with my family, on the occassions we do get together I count my blessings for having been so very fortunate in my life, still can't get my head around the fact that what started out as just US 2 has now become 13!
My MOTTO in life is to be the best person you can be in the time you are given and to be honest and true to yourself. Remember never to tempt fate by saying that you DON'T believe in Fairies!
