  • Bio

Formed in 1996, Quebec-based brutal death metalers Paroxysm released their debut album Revelation is Denied in 2004 and immediately established the band as one the most brutal outfits of the province. Their live performances bring out all of the band's ferocity, brutality and intensity... Paroxysm take this to a completely new level with Scars Of The Art: this opus is a superlative step forward with much stronger, tighter and much heavier material, and their most brutal sound ever! Scars Of The Art is the band's second offering, and their first full length for Prodisk. Produced by the band, it was engineered, mixed and mastered by Jean-Philippe Latour from Studio En Phase (Fuck The Facts, Talamyus). Scars Of The Art will be in stores on 23rd October 2007 and distributed across Canada by Fusion3. ...ARE YOU READY TO BE SCARRED FOR LIFE?
