This is for my husband because I truly believe I dreamed him into my life and he is the best.
About me:
We rescue birds when they do not have a home.. We take them into our home. We do not adopt them out, they become a part of our family. We have been doing this for many years. Birds that people said would never bond with a human has come to us and bonded almost instantly. I work from home so it is easy to give them alot of attention. My husbands weekend job is at a local zoo where he works with birds and many other animals. Two animals that has really taken to him are the cougar and the tiger. The cougar especially can not wait to see him. She comes running when she sees him and purrs like a kitten. She loves to have her back, stomach and feet rubbed. When he is leaving she will follow him around the fence. The birds that are at the zoo were not tame when he went there. With a little work now when changing the cages and feeding them he can interact with them and pet them.
Who I'd like to meet: More Birds. We would like to rescue a African Grey and a blue and Gold Macaw.
THANKS FOR THE ADD MY NEW FRIEND. I COULD USE SOME INPUT ON MY BIRDS TOO. MY COCKATOO LOOKS JUST LIKE YOURS AND I HAVE A BLUE FRONT AMAZON. THANKS AGAIN.

Hi there & thanks for accepting my request; Came across your page and being a bird fanatic, I love it! This is "Banshee" my ringneck dove. She was always hanging around with some Mourning Doves and Pidgeons to get fed on my roof deck in New York City last year...When I looked up what she was, I realized she'd been a pet, and would never make it through a NY winter....She loves my dogs too. I never thought I'd ever have a dove, but she's very smart, wonderful & sweet as can be. Take care, Cat
