About me:

She was not quite what you would call refined. She was not quite what you would call unrefined. She was the kind of person that keeps a parrot. ~Mark Twain~ That is one of my most favorite quotes! It describes me to a tee! I love my parrots and can't imagine my life without them in it.

I am a mother of 2, and grandmother of 3. Between the 5 of them my life is never boring! My husband and I have a family owned and operated restaurant in downtown Little Rock (see Dave's Place in my friends!). When I say family operated I literally mean it! Our son & daughter both work with us, and my 2 granddaughters are always there with us. On Friday nights is when the entire family is there! Our son & son in-law play in the band, our daughter waits tables, and our daughter in-law does what ever needs to be done! If you get a chance come check us out!

In my spare time I am a lampwork artist - meaning I make glass beads & small glass sculpture. I also really enjoy designing jewelry with my hand-made beads. Check out ParrotiseBeads.com to see some of my work!

I also enjoy spending time with my miniature dachshunds. The one in my profile picture is Abigail Von Wagatail. I often refer to her as the perfect dog! And she is!!! She also has a perfect brother (no relation though) named Tucker. There are more pictures of both of them in my albums.
