It'll make a conservative person feel real hood enough that'll give he or she the urge to want to take someone's head off! Guarantee you will feel the energy protruding from the speakers at an enormous amount of speed hitting you dead in the chest and in your head as if you got hit with a 357 smith and wesson!
P-WATTS IS NOT A NEW NAME TO THE SC MOVEMENT. ASK SC LEGENDS LIKE DJ PRINCE ICE, and he'll tell you. If it wasn't for some mishaps, unfortunate circumstances, and personal tragedy, P-Watts would've been one of the predecessors of the METRO/SC rap movement with the likes of Piazo, The Columbians, Servin Mike Earvin, Davyne, Carolina Pathfindaz, & the Low End Boyz. The only SC rap artist to work with a grammy award winning artist, the legendary Salt of Salt N Pepa on her album "Salt of the Earth" in 2001, and the 1st & only artist from SC to have an article in Russel Simmons' "One World" magazine in 2000. The only SC rap artist to land an acting role and have songs in a MAJOR MOTION FILM/SCORE & SNDTRK (Upcoming Blockbuster Movies "Pressure" & "Scooby-Doo 3"). No regrets on not playing a significant role in the local SC scene in the late 90's or early years of the new millenium. In fact, his early opus, the original "Southern Contradiction" album was referred to as a "breath of fresh air" & compared to Dr.Dre's timeless classic "The Chronic" by the very few who came in contact with it. This twelve track musical delicacy was courted by many major record labels including Erick Nicks of Violator Records, Steve Rifkin's Loud Records, Warlock Records, Motown/Universal Records, and Def Jam South (before LUDACRIS signed) by the help of Salt's husband Gavin Wray and former Wherehouse Music Retail Chain Impressario & member of the Source magazine's POWER 30, Violet Brown. However, corrupt unscrupulous former management dealings ruined any chances of P-Watts becoming the first artist from Columbia, SC as a force on the national mainstream Hip Hop scene. Also, a deal with Lil Troy's Short Stop Records/All Mine Ent. Group (indie based company in Houston, TX) fell short due to Lil Troy's untimely incanceration. After returning back to his native home of Columbia, with the assistance of DJ Prince Ice (of then WWDM 101.3), the middle eastern/south western laced, raunchy track "Take Da Load"(a single off the original Southern Contradiction) garnered some spins on the "Pick or Kick It" beating out some of the biggest records in the industry. However, with a lack of promotion and marketing resources to further the growth of the single, the original "Southern Contradiction", considered a classic to a few, was left in the dark to collect dust. In addition, P-Watts was also a member of DJ Prince Ice's infamous Small Bus Crew, which also included Geechie Boi & Kim Diamond on The Big DM 101.3. P-Watts would be known for his "Small Bus" radio promo which would draw listeners to request for the show's intro as if it was a song. As the saying goes, "Everything happens for a reason".
