.. Hi, I am owner and co-founder of Partners In Rhyme. Our website at www.partnersinrhyme.com has been online since 1996 and has been providing filmmakers and video producers with royalty free music and sound effects for over a decade now.

Partners In Rhyme went online in 1994 and became an official ecommerce business in 1996. We originally started out as a group of composers working for former Devo leader Mark Mothersbaugh's Mutato Muzika in Hollywood where we would write music and create sound design for commercials, games, cartoons and TV series.

Check out our very first site back in the stone age of the internet.

If you're into visual effects at all you can check out my IMDB page. I had the great fortune to work on some of the coolest visual effects movies ever made. Hopefully I'm completely retired from that sort of work now, it'll kill you if you do it for too long.

The story of our decadent vacation in Bordeaux, France.

Who I'd like to meet:

When we formed Partners In Rhyme our main mission was to create our own market where we could distribute our music on our own terms without interference from record labels. We have definitely succeeded in doing that.
We have also succeeded in helping other musicians distribute their music and in the process help them make a living doing what they love to do.

Partners In Rhyme is always on the look out for new talent. We are very discerning about who we sign into the PIR family but once you're in you become part of a revenue generating system for musicians that includes many distribution channels and a composer account area where you can watch your income grow.

Whether you're a composer or sound designer interested in distributing your music for royalty free use you can contact me for an address to send a CD of your work or simply point us to any online demos you may have. We would also like to meet any other companies that might be interested in forming a partnership or anyone with an interesting business venture involving royalty free content distribution.
