PARTNER were local rock star heroes from 1977 until 1981. Kickstarting their career with the hitsingle"Kayuta Hill" the band toured almost nonstop. Dutch TV stations broadcasted a few live concerts that only survived in someone's rusty video recorder. Dreams of international success were never achieved , but somehow their songs still seem to pop up on the radio until today.PARTNER released three reasonably successful albums and about a dozen singles. Although the band called it quits in 1981 , every member is still active in the music business as we speak. We might even hear some more about them soon......... although there are absolutely no plans to regroup. One guy lives in France and another in the USA - go figure...
Dutch website www.popinstituut.nl has excelllent biographies (in Dutch and English) about PARTNER and Erwin Musper. If you remember stuff that everyone else has forgotten about , use this site to refresh our memories. Anything goes ; they might have lost some of their hair , but they haven't lost their sense of humor.
