Part One Tribe is a highly dedicated band that plays "All Origional, Alternative, Reggae, Rock and Blues music." The band has been in existence since 1995. In this time they have toured the entire U.S over 20 times. Playing over 1,000 shows in over 35 states. In July '07 they played 3 shows in the Bahamas. They have independently recorded and released 6 full length Studio albums, 4 Live albums and even released a limited edition acoustic album. Their music has also appeared on 5 compilation albums, One of said Compilations was released by Sony Japan and One Big Family Records( Part One Tribe along side Sublime, Long Beach Dub Allstars,Half Pint and others). In 2006 they were featured in their first surf film Tex to Mex Chicks. Most recently the band acquired national and international distribution credits when they had 2 songs featured in the new Lost Surf Video Redux 5'5 19'1/4. Part One Tribe has been living in their van on the road touring since April 29th 2004, only going home to visit family for a few days around the Holidays. In this time they have sold over 35,000 CD's out of their van. They book all their shows and fund all the CDs thru their own production company called H.C. Indie Productions. The band has been doing whatever it takes to stay on the road and stay progressive. This is what earned them the respect of their idols and peers. Some give them the nickname, "The Road Warriors"; These are the D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself) punk ethics that got them signed to the so-cal based indie label Long Beach Records. The band boasts only of the dues they have payed. They have a lot of hard earned road, studio and stage time and experience. Part One Tribe just released the long awaited new album "Obvious As Ever" available thru Cdbaby. com and I-tunes on Long Beach Records and H.C.
