JAZZDIMENSIONS august 2, 2009: Pasadena Projekt – Hypersly "Obwohl die CD vom Klang her deutlich vom Folk beeinflusst ist, entsteht aus den repetitiven Mustern, um die die Songs gebaut sind, eher ein Bezug zu Gospel oder Blues. Auf ‚Hypersly’ herrscht eine traumartige Atmosph�re vor, die etwas unfassbares, nebul�ses, aber auch be�ngstigendes hat. Gleichzeitig wirkt die Platte wie ein Versuch, so einfach und komplex wie m�glich zu arbeiten. Als h�tten die beiden Macher die Idee gehabt, die naive Musikwelt eines Syd Barrett mit der mythologisierenden eines Sun Ra zu verschmelzen. Auch wenn freier Jazz hier nie gro� thematisiert wird. ‚Hypersly’ stellt die musikalische Reflektion auf einen Bewusstseinszustand dar; eine Art psychoakustische Popmusik. Und dieser Bewusstseinszustand hat nichts mit Rauscherfahrung zu tun, sondern mit einer hypersensiblen Wahrnehmung der Wirklichkeit.".....
