"Ka-mmunity Ka-llective" also known as Community Conference to all of our members, which will be addressing topics such as: Injustice through the system, awareness of our voting rights, and performances from Spoken Word artists. Ka-mmnity Ka-llective is tailored towards College students and is meant to be an educational process to motivate everyone to take an active part in the community! There will also be a panel of distinguished guest speakers reviewing issues like: activism, social and communal affairs, and further discussion questions.
We highly encourage everyone to attend this event. Nowadays amidst our chaotic college and work schedules we barely have time to turn on the news let alone read the newspapers! Ka-mmunity Ka-llective can allow you to get in touch with the community at large and the many issues that will soon affect everyone. We will be discussing The Forbidden Book, which is a book of political propaganda and how Filipinos were portrayed during the colonization of the PI. THE TRUTH ABOUT WORLD WAR II!!!!!!!!!! Abe Ignacio will be there to discuss it and have a forum afterwards.
THEN we'll be talking to Eli Africa, a local Filipino video, graphic artist who will even show up a couple screenings of his videos!!!! Afterwards he will answer any questions you'll have!!
Come prepared to LEARN more about the Filipino history while still have FUN!!!!! Don't hesitate to ask any questions either, something you know you can teach someone else and something that someone else knows can be taught to you!! It's a whole big learning cycle!!

SPEAK OUT is the ONLY Filipino American TV talk show on air, which seeks to provide a forum for Filipino – Americans to freely express their ideas, opinions, and concerns on hot topics.
We are looking for six panelists who have a passion for our topics. Three panelists support and three that oppose the topic moderated by two of our hosts. We strive for a balanced televised dicussion and hope you can refer someone that may be able to “Speak Out".
