Being a vinyl addict who spend most of his time in soul music conventions , dj producer Pascal Rioux (Favorite recordings , Big Single , Rotax records) has always been influenced by the sweetest soul singers, no matter the style - mellow - northern - latin - modern ..here are a few favorite names Leon Ware, the Isley Brothers ,Al Green , Prince Phillip Mitchell, Dennis Coffey, Al Johnson .....the list is longer than my arm. Favorite Recordings will license stuff from these old school days , adding the quality re- mastering treatment to it .

Paco décroche son Téléphone et Pedro fredonne la Compagnie Créole… Snifff (le chat) de son côté se repasse en boucle la 7ème symphonie de Beethoven dirigée par Furtwängler au Royal victoria Hall en 1949. Palem seul considère que Sonic Youth est le chaînon manquant. Est il le dernier des rockeurs ? Pour ce qui est de la direction artistique des nouveaux morceaux le mystère restera donc entier… Vous en saurez plus au Rigoletto le 14 novembre pour un concert plein de nouveautés, en compagnie des splendides Twins sisters et des non moins magnifiques Bagro’s (337 rue de Belleville 75019 Paris métro Porte des Lilas, à partir de 20h, 5 euros seulement mais c’est une peccadille).

à la mise sur orbite par Cap Carnaval du festival Gone and roll, nos 5
musiciens se sont trouvés fort dépourvus, la bise étant… venue. Sofff a
noyé son chagrin dans les guimauves grillées, Paco dans le la graisse de moteur,
Palem dans le cinéma expérimental Suisse, Pedro dans la dernière rediffusion de
Koh Lanta et JL dans les nightclubs glauques d’un Paris trop petit
pour un désespoir trop grand. Pendant ce temps Snifff (le chat) enfin rentré
de son dernier colloque « Maow : significations intrinsèques du
malaise félin ou cyberculture et croquettes l’antinomie est à nos portes
bordel » se battait pour réorganiser la suite de la tournée mondiale en
France. C’est donc accompagnés de Julia Battle et Staircaise Wisp qu’ils
donneront assaut aux Disquaires (Paris le 27 octobre, 20h30, entrée libre) Et
le 31 octobre qu’ils en remettront une couche avec Moon Reapers et Mick
Hypnotik Sensation au Prado en plus c’est Halloween donc tout peut arriver
(Rouen, 21h00, 2 euros tarif syndical). On part en live ?
