I am a 33 year old full time Dad and full time musician living and playing in the Saratoga Springs N.Y area. I play w/ my good friend and band mate George Fletcher as The Tequila Mockingbirds. I also play in the blues/swing group Bourbon Renewal. In addition I have been hosting an open mic at Gaffney's in Saratoga Springs for about 5 years. I always enjoy meeting and playing w/ new musicians of every level. We recently received a couple of nice distinctions. We were vote "Best Jazz Musician or Group" of 2007 in the Albany Times Union readers polls. We also have been voted "Best Acoustic Duo" for 2007 and 2008 in the Metroland readers polls. We have released 3 cd's to date. Most recently "Birds of a feather" which can be purchased at www.thetequilamockingbirds.com.
I have been married for almost 4 years to my amazing wife Natalie and we had our first child on Sept 4, 2006. Her name is Mia Lillian Pashoukos and she's perfect. I truly believe that children help you to become the person you have always wanted to be. My days are taking care of my energetic baby daughter and at night I play a guitar for a living. I love every day although I must admit that I'm consistently sleepy.
After graduating H.S. I was in the Navy, stationed on board the USS George Washington, CVN 73. Our home port was Norfolk, Va. While on board we were deployed to the Persian Gulf, Arabian Gulf, and the Mediterranean Sea. I have been to England, France, Isreal, Turkey, The UAE, Dubai, Greece, Puerto Rico and through the Suez Canal 4 times. I have travelled across the country and taken a Greyhound from San Francisco to Albany. These day's I prefer to stay close to my girls.
Who I'd like to meet: Old friends that I've lost touch with along the way. There's been a lot of them. People interested in music. Particularly my music :)
