Vibraphonist composer.. Among the most active in the jazz vibraphonists Italian and International. He recorded several albums and has numerous partnerships with national and international musicians... He studied percussion at the Conservatory of Music of Salerno.... Since 1996 follows vibraphone courses with Francesco Lo Cascio In 2000 follows courses at Siena Jazz, studying harmony with the italian pianist Franco d'Andrea..... In 2001 he moved to Bologna where he played with the "Memorial Barbecue ", a project of bassist Antonio Borghini performing at the International Festival of St. Anna Arresi in Sardinia... Since 2004, he joined the "Mrafi" quartet led by saxophonist Edoardo Marraffa, with whom he recorded the album "La Terra di Giubba" recorded for the Radio Rai 3 broadcast "Battiti" and published for the series tracks... With the project of drummer Andrea Benini Mop Mop records for the Japanese label Rambling Records, the Italian Dejavu Records and the German Infracom , engaging himself in the international discographyc market "nu-jazz and performing in many European cities (Russia, Germany, France, England, etc.). In 2005 became member of Bassesfere, a collective of musicians committed to developing and disseminating improvised music, with which he performs at the Cloister of St. Martin Museum of Music, the Theater S. Leonardo di Bologna, Crossroads Jazz Festival and at Radio Rai3. Participates in several Italian Festivals:.. Bologna Festival Internazioinale "Angelica" for the conduction / induction directed by Lawerence D. Butch Morris (project registered and recorded by Radio Rai 3 for the series tracks) and the ensemble "Camera Lirica" directed by Domenico Caliri, the Clusone Jazz Festival in duets with italian saxophonist Edoardo Marraffa; Carega Jazz Festival at the Orange Room project. In 2006 he participated to the disc recording Shtik, a project of drummer Zeno de Rossi... In 2007 he collaborated with the company "Artemis Dance" by Monica Casadei performing in various Italian theaters.. That same year he performed with saxophonist Edoardo Marraffa and drummer Hamid Drake at the festival "Jazz in Lieu" (TO)..... In summer 2008 participates with the project "Tessitura" by the composer and polinstrumentalist Fred Frith in the International Festival" Angelica ", performing at the Teatro Manzoni in Lugo (RA), the House Theatre of Mondaino (RN) and the Festival "Jazz in'it "Vignola. Also in 2008 he played in Milan and Rome in a duo with drummer Hamid Drake, with which it creates a stable project... That same year he graduated from the Conservatory of Music GB Martini in Bologna during three years of Jazz... In 2009 he performed with the "Pasquale Mirra meets Hamid Drake" at the International Festival of Percussion at Percfest Laigueglia (SV), Venetian Ubi Jazz Festival and Jazz Festival Soliera (MO). With trombonist Gianluca Petrella and saxophonist Guglielmo Pagnozzi to the Festival Jazz di Cento (FE)... He also plays in the first edition of Passions Festival held in the city of Mantova... He performs solo at the International Art Festival Arcevia (AN) and International Festival of art, music and film of Ravello (SA). He also participates in the Jazz Festival Levico (TN) and with guitarist Domenico Caliri recorded a CD of the "duo Pascal" forthcoming, with whom he had a successful first edition of the XXIX Clusone Jazz Festival..... Tra i vibrafonisti più attivi nel panorama jazz Italiano ed Internazionale. Ha inciso numerosi dischi e vanta numerose collaborazioni con musicisti nazionali ed internazionali... Studia strumenti a percussione presso il Conservatorio Statale di Musica UmbertoI di Salerno con il Maestro Romano Molinaro. Dal 1996 segue corsi di vibrafono con il Maestro Francesco Lo Cascio presso la Scuola Saint Louis di Roma... Nel 2000 segue i corsi di perfezionamento presso Siena Jazz, studiando armonia con i Maestri Franco d'Andrea e Stefano Battaglia... Nell'anno 2001 si trasferisce a Bologna dove collabora con il "Memorial Barbecue", progetto del contrabbassista Antonio Borghini esibendosi al Festival Internazionale di S. Anna Arresi in Sardegna... Dal 2004 entra a far parte di "Mrafi", quartetto guidato dal sassofonista Edoardo Marraffa, con il quale incide il disco "La Terra di Giubba " registrato per la trasmissione "Battiti" di Radio Rai 3 e pubblicato per la collana Tracce. Con il progetto MopMop del batterista Andrea Benini incide per l'etichetta giapponese Rambling Records , l'italiana Dejavù Records e la tedesca Infracom inserendosi nel mercato discografico internazionale "nu-jazz" ed esibendosi in molte città Europee (Russia, Germania, Francia,Inghilterra, etc.) Nel 2005 diventa membro dell'associazione Bassesfere , un collettivo di musicisti impegnati a sviluppare e divulgare la musica improvvisata, col quale si esibisce al Chiostro di S. Martino al Museo Della Musica, al Teatro S. Leonardo di Bologna, a Crossroads Jazz Festival e alla trasmissione "Battiti " di Radio Rai 3... Partecipa a diversi Festivals italiani:.. A Bologna al Festival Internazioinale "AngelicA" per la conduction/ induction diretta da Lawerence D.Butch Morris, ( progetto registrato ed inciso da Radio 3 per la collana Tracce ) e con l'ensemble " Camera Lirica " diretto da Domenico Caliri; al Clusone Jazz Festival in duo con Edoardo Marraffa; al Carega Jazz Festival con il progetto Orange Room ... Nel 2006 partecipa come ospite alla registrazione del disco Shtik, progetto del batterista Zeno de Rossi... Nel 2007 collabora con la compagnia "Artemis Danza"di Monica Casadei esibendosi in diversi teatri italiani... Nello stesso anno si esibisce con il sassofonista Edoardo Marraffa ed il batterista Hamid Drake al festival "Jazz a Lieu"(TO)... Nell'estate 2008 con il progetto "Tessitura" del compositore e polistrumentista Fred Frith partecipa al Festival Internazionale "Angelica ", esibendosi al Teatro Manzoni di Lugo (RA), al Teatro Dimora di Mondaino (RN) e al Festival "Jazz in'it" di Vignola. Sempre nel 2008 suona a Milano e Roma in duo con il batterista Hamid Drake, con il quale crea un progetto stabile... Nello stesso anno si laurea presso il Conservatorio Statale di Musica G.B. Martini di Bologna nel corso triennale di Jazz... Nel 2009 si esibisce con il progetto "Pasquale Mirra meets Hamid Drake" al Festival Internazionale di percussioni Percfest presso Laigueglia (SV), al Festival veneto Ubi Jazz e al Festival Jazz di Soliera (MO). Con il trombonista Gianluca Petrella ed il sassofonista Guglielmo Pagnozzi partecipa al Festival Jazz di Cento (FE)... Suona inoltre alla prima edizione del Festival delle Passioni svoltosi nella città di Mantova... Si esibisce in solo presso l'International Art Festival di Arcevia (AN) e al Festival Internazionale d'arte, musica e cinema di Ravello (SA)...
