The Extreme Metal band "Passion for Bleeding" came into the world in October 2003. It was the original singer Fabio "Elf" that formed it, introducing Mirko "Icus" – bass and Armando "Army Black" – drums (both coming from a previous experience in "Mindflayer") to Federico "Jesus" – guitar. In the beginning the repertoire of the band consisted only of some covers, chosen from a vast range of groups and genres (from Misfits, Coal Chamber, Marilyn Manson to Iced Earth); only in December 2003 the guys began to compose their own songs (often developing a very simple and casual riff) and turned towards a more specific kind of Metal: the first results of this work are "Sick sound of bell" (which was left out after the departure of Fabio and Mirko in July 2004) and Devil's son. One more (concept-) song, "Inferno", was composed in 2004 by all the members together. Jesus and Black decided to keep the band alive and looked for other people, in order to replace the missing members. A new bass player, Flavio " Wolf", joined the band in September; In the meanwhile, new songs such as "Angel of Darkness" and "Biogenesis of Evil" were composed.
Only in March 2005 the band was once again complete: Flavio found out a new singer, Andrea "Amroth". He wrote down new lyrics for the songs and, in August, "Devil's son", "Biogenesis of Evil", "Angel of Darkness" and "Inferno" were recorded in Deposito Giordani Studios.
From September 2005 to January 2006, new songs were composed to enrich the repertoire, since some opportunities to play were in sight – a Black Metal influence can be felt in these compositions: from 1st April 2006, Passion for Bleeding played some live gigs, finally for the first time. Some new songs ("In the black sunshine", "Desecrator", "Nightfires" and "Hunger for Hate") were performed in these concerts.
In May, the band started recording a demo but the work was interrupted by the departure of the bassist Wolf in July.
In August, the new bassist Davide "Silvanus" joined the band and arranged the songs with richer bass riffs and, furthermore, new pieces were composed with him. In November 2006 the guys started playing some gigs, but felt the lack of another guitarist: the new axe, Edoardo "Edo", joined P4B at the end of the month and, in December, two live shows were performed with him. At the beginning of march 2007, Army, Jesus, Silvanus and Edo has parted from the singer Amroth and Silvanus has taken up the lead vocals; the band worked on new songs and prepared some upcoming shows.
Silvanus left the band.
