Pastichio Rocker was born and raised in The Netherlands. He grew up with music by artists like David Byrne, Ryuichi Sakamoto, U2, REM and Tears For Fears. Around 1991, after he heard the song 'James Brown Is Dead' by L.A. Style on the radio (which was his first introduction to House music), he immediately wanted to make music himself one day. And that's when it all started...
Pastichio Rocker explores all sorts of genres; from ambient to hardcore techno and from classical music to death-metal, every genre has it's own qualities, and he's determined to find out which that are. That's why most of his songs could be seen as an eclectic hodgepodge. These days Pastichio rocker is experimenting with bringing more traditional elements to his music, like piano, guitar and vocals.
Pastichio Rocker has won several music contests (recently the Illegal Substance 'Banana Song' contest held by ACIDplanet.com), and has been rewarded Mixdown Mixer of the Year 2004 on Nashville's WRVU 91.1FM's Mixdown show. He wrote music for various (Dutch) documentaries and short films. He's also a member of www.beatsfactory.com, a fast-growing netmusic label.
Jordan Rivera is back this time with legendary UK singer Spoonface (faada.co.uk). The voice of Number one selling Black Legend and club anthem 'Hey Girl'. Black Legend's "You See the Trouble with Me" reached #1 in the UK Singles Chart selling several million worldwide. Many recognise Spoonface's contribution to the sound of Ukfunky with the classic dancefloor hit 'Hey Girl' With a host of collaborations from Drum and Bass maestro High Contrast to Reggae Legend Janet Kay, his current efforts have kept him at the top of the club charts with tracks like Wunna Be (Christain Marchi remix) and Here For You (Time srl). This track is called 'Keep on Holding'. It's an inspirational house record aiming to provide some upliftment in these 'crazy time's'.
