An acappella doo-wop group based in the Harrisburg PA area, Pastime is an accomplished group who sing a wide range of songs. Three factors influence why the vocal renditions of Pastime are so unique. First, and maybe most important, is the group's dedication to the "street corner" doo-wop sound. Second, is their ability to harmonize naturally. And third, is the almost perfect blend of the voices.
The group consists of Larry Brown (1st tenor), Ron Hoerner (1st tenor, 2nd tenor), Rich Cessna (2nd tenor, baritone), Gordy Geesey (baritone) and Terry Trollinger (bass). All members of the group will sing a lead at sometime during a performance.
The group has performed with some of the greatest doowop groups of all time including: The Drifters, Willie Winfield and the Harptones, The Teenagers, Cleveland Stills and the Dubs, Herb Cox and The Cleftones, Lee Andrews and the Hearts, The Orlons, The Dreamlovers, The Platters, Eugene Pitt and the Jive Five, Pookie Hudson and the Spaniels, Kenny Vance and the Planotones, Earl Lewis, and Danny and the Juniors, and The Duprees.
