Pastor Gary Most of us are much more severe in our judgment of others than we are of judging ourselves. Repentance, not judgment is what we should be seeking. Posted at 6:49 PM Dec 6 view more
About me:
Outwitted!
Edwin Markham :
He drew a circle that shut me out,
heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But, Love and I had the wit to win;
We drew a circle that took him in!
I try to accept others with the grace with which God has accepted me. I enjoy helping others to see possibilities and realize their potential(s).
Who I'd like to meet: People seeking the path of least addiction; modern monastics, persons who want spiritual discipline; quantum thinkers.
Anyone who doesn't understand why their life doesn't get any better or why they keep getting fooled over and over.
Persons who know that there is 'someone more'in their life-space and would like to know 'who' that someone is.
Persons who will discuss their version of 'prophecy' as it relates to Scripture with an open mind.
People who actually practice grace and forgiveness.
People who really love Jesus!!

I've Never Met A Cozy Christian Who God Actually Used.
Some say, don't bother me. I like it cozy, convenient, and easy. Just don't mess with me or I'm willing to come to church, but just don't ask me to get involved with the difficult things. I am not interested in serving and getting involved in other people's lives. Well if you want to go to heaven that way, you can. But when you get there, you are going to be extremely disappointed. There are rewards for the believer. You cannot sit on the sidelines watching life pass by and expect to hear God say well done good and faithful servant. What is God doing? God has us in school here on earth. I don't know about you, but I want to make a "A" . Everything in us of any value whatsoever becomes more and more useful and valuable to God. This does not mean that God loves us more---He can't love us any more than He already, perfectly does. God is excited when we obey Him and when we're growing in Him... "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; "but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Mt 6:19-21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.Matthew25:21
We have celebrations for many different things on earth. We celebrate with joy and thanksgiving and then they stop.
There is a never-ending celebration that will make the earthly ones look small and pale in comparrision. It is the celebration of Christ's return and the marriage supper. This celebration will start and build until it is heard throught heaven and earth.
Do you want the celebrations for a season or the never-ending heavenly one? It's your choice- earthly pleasures or heavenly ones.

Stars (Written Christmas 2006)
Stars shone brightly down from the heavens throughout time, shining ever brighter on his birth and resurrection morn.
He wants us to shine brighter than the brightest star - 365 days a year - never going out.
How brightly are you shining for him?
The Perfect Gift
Christmas day has come and gone for another year - all the trees and wrappings put away- decorations down and food gone. It was fun while it lasted, but faded quickly for another year. There is one gift that never fades or grows old and never changes with its message of hope- can you name it? It is the precious gift of god's son Jesus. He came as a lowly carpenter's son instead of the king that he was and still is. He came to the lowly to give them hope- the downtrodden and hurting. Into that lowly manager came the brightest beacon of hope into a world filled with despair and no hope. He brought the promise of life and peace and joy when was the last time you got a gift that lasted in its original condition over 2000 years looking the same as the first day it was given birth and resurrection morns? All earthly gifts represent this but pale in comparison to it and eventually go back to dust and new replaces it. His gift promises life- eternally and a jeweled crown - we are children of a king- prince and princess and should carry our selves as
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Luke 1 and 31-33
This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" - which means, "God with us."
When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.
Matthew 1:18-25
What a Wonderful time of year! Praise God! Have a Blessed Day Pastor Gary! Love you, Julie
And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. Luke 1 and 29-30
Well, may our God be glorious in the eyes of His people, seeing that He has wrought such wonders for them, in them and by them. For them, the Lord Jesus upon Calvary routed every foe, breaking all the weapons of the enemy in pieces by His finished work of satisfactory obedience; by His triumphant resurrection and ascension He completely overturned the hopes of hell, leading captivity captive, making a show of our enemies openly, triumphing over them by His cross. Every arrow of guilt which Satan might have shot at us is broken; who can lay anything to the charge of God's elect? Vain are the sharp swords of infernal malice, and the perpetual battles of the serpent's seed, for in the midst of the church the lame take the prey, and the feeblest warriors are crowned.
The saved may well adore their Lord for His conquests in them, since the arrow of their natural hatred are snapped, and the weapons of their rebellion broken. What victories has grace won in our evil hearts! How glorious is Jesus when the will is subdued, and sin dethroned! As for our remaining corruptions, they shall sustain an equally sure defeat, and every temptation, and doubt, and fear, shall be utterly destroyed. In the Salem of our peaceful hearts, the of Jesus is great beyond compare: He has won our love, and He shall wear it. Even thus securely may we look for victories by us. We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. We shall cast down the powers of darkness which are in the world, by our faith, and zeal, and holiness; we shall win sinners to Jesus, we shall overturn false systems, we shall convert nations, for God is with us, and none shall stand before us. This day, let the Christian warrior chant the war song, and prepare for tomorrow's fight. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.
And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.
Hebrews 1:2, NLT Jesus was God's agent in creating the world. As followers of Christ, we may give easy assent to this truth but deny it in practice. We may believe that Christ knows and controls the laws of heaven (pertaining to salvation and spiritual growth), but we may act each day as though our financial, family, or medical problems are beyond his reach. If Jesus could create the universe, then no part of life is out of control. Do not exclude Jesus' wisdom adn the Bible's guidance in yoru complex problems of life. No expert, professor, doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor knows more about your ultimate security and well being than Jesus does. Go first to God for advice. Talk to him in prayer and listen to him in his Word. He can sustain you in times of stress. From that perspective you can evaluate all the other wisdom and help made available to you.
I believe it's time for God to see Jesus in His people like never before! We're made in His likeness and designed in His image. Let's step out of the boat with Him and walk in the abundance of His Miracles! Who's coming with me? I'm stepping out!!! Linda
"Truly, truly, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father." (John 14:12)
Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4-5
"...the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the desert. he went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. As is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet: A voice of one calling in the desert, 'Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him. Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth. And all mankind will see God's salvation."
