About me:
Outwitted!
Edwin Markham :
He drew a circle that shut me out,
heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But, Love and I had the wit to win;
We drew a circle that took him in!
I try to accept others with the grace with which God has accepted me. I enjoy helping others to see possibilities and realize their potential(s).
Who I'd like to meet: People seeking the path of least addiction; modern monastics, persons who want spiritual discipline; quantum thinkers.
Anyone who doesn't understand why their life doesn't get any better or why they keep getting fooled over and over.
Persons who know that there is 'someone more'in their life-space and would like to know 'who' that someone is.
Persons who will discuss their version of 'prophecy' as it relates to Scripture with an open mind.
People who actually practice grace and forgiveness.
People who really love Jesus!!

The Book of Haggai draws attention to common problems most people face even today. Haggai asks us: 1) to examine our priorities to see if we are more interested in our own pleasures than doing the work of God; 2) to reject a defeatist attitude when we run into opposition or discouraging circumstances; 3) to confess our failures and seek to live pure lives before God; 4) to act courageously for God because we have the assurance that He is with us always and is in full control of our circumstances; and 5) to rest secure in God's hands knowing that He will abundantly bless us as we faithfully serve Him. Peace, Messenger ♥ †
And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued
to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are
constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing
splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the
Lord [Who is] the Spirit.
AS IT BEGAN TO DAWN, MAGDALENE WENT TO THE SEPULCHER. Matthew 28:1
Let us learn from Mary Magdalene how to obtain fellowship with the Lord Jesus. Notice how she sought. She sought the Savior very early in the morning. If thou canst wait for Christ, and be patient in the hope of having fellowship with Him at some distant season, thou wilt never have fellowship at all; for the heart that is fitted for communion is a hungering and a thirsting heart. She sought Him also with very great boldness. Other disciples fled from the sepulcher, for they trembled and were amazed; but Mary, it is said, stood at the sepulcher.
If you would have Christ with you, seek Him boldly. Let nothing hold you back. Defy the world. Press on where others flee. She sought Christ faithfully--she stood at the sepulcher. Some find it hard to stand by a living Savior, but she stood by a dead one. Let us seek Christ after this mode, cleaving to the very least thing that has to do with Him, remaining faithful though all others should forsake Him. Note further, she sought Jesus earnestly--she stood "weeping." Those tear-droppings were as spells that led the Savior captive, and made Him come forth and show Himself to her.
If you desire Jesus' presence, weep after it! If you cannot be happy unless He come and say to you, "Thou art my beloved," you will soon hear His voice. Lastly, she sought the Savior only. What cared she for angels, she turned herself back from them; her search was only for her Lord. If Christ be your one and only love, if your heart has cast out all rivals, you will not long lack the comfort of His presence. Mary Magdalene sought thus because she loved much. Let us arouse ourselves to the same intensity of affection; let our heart, like Mary's, be full of Christ, and our love, like hers, will be satisfied with nothing short of Him. The Lord Jesus will reveal Himself to those who believe and trust in Him.
Christ suffered on the cross for the sins of many and He arose on the third day sealing the promise of redemption. Let all things be subject to His atoning blood in your life. Being purified by it, we can live holy lives, pleasing to the Heavenly Father, fully reconciled. Without it, we would remain in our sins, unclean and unholy, doomed to everlasting destruction and shame. Through Christ Jesus we have been given the power to become the sons of the Living God. Thereby, we become joint heirs of everlasting life and honor. Being sons of the Living God, our affections should not be on earthly things, because this is not our home. Set your affections on the things of Heaven where Christ sits on the Right Hand of God. Heaven is your home.
Let us alway keep our eyes on Jesus and not of this world for we are not of this world and know that we will be going to our true home in heaven.Amen! God bless you and family
The wind always blows around us. The mighty storm comes sooner or later. We have no choice or control over when the storm comes. Today the sun may be shining; tomorrow we may find ourselves toiling against the wind and rain, tossed about by adversity. Life can turn on a dime. We all know that. What happened to Peter can happen to any of us. For a brief moment, he forgets about Jesus and remembers who he is and where he is. He is Peter, a Galilean fisherman who belongs back in the boat. In that instant he looks down at his feet and sees nothing but water underneath. His mind comes to a quick conclusion: “I’m not supposed to be walking on water. This is impossible.” When he lost his concentration on Jesus, he began to sink.
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.(Matt 9:36).
Compassion is what motivates God, and Jesus’ life on earth was a picture of that compassion in action . His whole ministry was driven by it. It was compassion that caused Him to multiply the loaves and fish, heal The sick, cast out demons and raise the dead. It was compassion that compelled him to go to the Cross. And it’s that same compassion that He now longs to pour out through you!
Kenneth E. Hagin was born in McKinney, Texas, the son of Lillie Viola Drake Hagin and Jess Hagin. He was married to Oretha Rooker. They had two children, a son named Kenneth Wayne Hagin, who is presently the pastor of Rhema Bible Church and President of Kenneth Hagin Ministries, and a daughter named Patricia Harrison.
Hagin died five days after lapsing into a coma due to a heart arrhythmia in September 2003.[citation needed]
His favorite scripture was Mark 11:23: "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith".[citation needed]

PHILIPPIANS 4:13 NKJ 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
God often makes statements in the Bible that go against what we feel like, or what it looks like to us at the time.
God is trying to move us to a higher plane of faith where we depend on Him and not on what we feel like.
Others try to evade the issue by saying that a verse only applies to someone else -- like the Apostle Paul -- not to them.
Well, if you don't believe, you won't receive help. But help is available. And that help and strength is just as available to you as it was to the Apostle Paul, because the Lord does not play favorites.
Paul didn't say, "I can do all things because I am an apostle." No, it is "through Christ" that he was enabled to do what he needed to do. And you, as a believer, are in Christ just as much as the Apostle Paul was.
You choose. Either step out in faith in God and say you can do it with His help, and watch God raise you up to that level. Or, cower back in fear, and say you cannot do it.
SAY THIS: I CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
HAVE A TRUELY BLESSED WEEK. PEACE UNTO YOU. FORTHKNIGHT MINISTRIES
Changeful experience often leads the anxious believer to inquire Why is it thus with me? I looked for light, but lo, darkness came; for peace, but behold trouble. I said in my heart, my mountain stand firm, I shall never be moved. Lord, thou dost hide Thy face, and I am troubled. It was but yesterday that I could read my title clear; to-day my evidences are bedimmed, and my hopes are clouded. Yesterday I could climb to Pisgah's top, and view the landscape o'er, and rejoice with confidence in my future inheritance; to-day, my spirit has no hopes, but many fears; no joys, but much distress. Is this part of God's plan with me?
Can this be the way in which God would bring me to heaven? Yes, it is even so. The eclipse of your faith, the darkness of your mind, the fainting of your hope, all these things are but parts of God's method of making you ripe for the great inheritance upon which you shall soon enter. These trials are for the testing and strengthening of your faith--they are waves that wash you further upon the rock--they are winds which waft your ship the more swiftly towards the desired haven.
According to David's words, so it might be said of you, "so He brings them to their desired haven. By honor and dishonor, by evil report and by good report, by plenty and by poverty, by joy and by distress, by persecution and by peace, by all these things is the life of your souls maintained, and by each of these are you helped on your way. Oh, think not, believer, that your sorrows are out of God's plan; they are necessary parts of it. We must, through much tribulation, enter the kingdom. Learn, then, even to "count it all joy when ye fall into diver’s temptations.
And he called the twelve; and began to send them two and two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. And he commanded them that they should take nothing for the way, but a staff only; no scrip, no bread, nor money in their purse, But to be shod with sandals, and that they should not put on two coats. And he said to them: Wheresoever you shall enter into an house, there abide till you depart from that place. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you; going forth from thence, shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony to them. And going forth they preached men should do penance: And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them. Mark 6, 7-13
