I enjoy working part-time as a radio announcer for AM 1250 The Light in Franklin, Virginia on Saturday Mornings. I enjoy being a blessing to the people of God. I like fishing, shopping, traveling, and attending professional football and basketball games. I also have an interest in doing Revivals all over the nation and worldwide.

Heroes
True Heroes are as followed: GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, and GOD THE HOLY GHOST. Earthly, my Mother, the late Rev. Lillian Vernell Whitehurst. She was a true woman of God. She taught me how to: be strong in the midst of adversity, hold my head up when everything seemed to fail, how to love and appreciate myself when no else does, but most of all she taught me how to stand on the word of God for every experience that I will encounter in life. Last but not least ALL of the naysayers, foes, and enemies, you are my heroes also because ALL of you have helped me to become who I am today. Your negativity was intended to deminish me, but I used it to increase me, so I want to Thank You, and I love you.

About me: Pastor Jamaal Brian Whitehurst is the Senior Pastor of Souls for Christ Temple/Bread of Life Ministries, Suffolk, Virginia. He also serves as the Assistant Pastor of Faith Tabernacle Deliverance Temple, Murfreesboro, N.C., under the leadership of Apostle Peggy Beale. He will be consecrated to the scared office of Apostle on July 10, 2010, becoming the Prelate, of the Bread of Life Covenant Fellowship of Holiness Churches, and 1st Assistant Presiding Bishop of the Kingdom Dominion Fellowship under the leadership of Apostle Rodney Chandler.
He was one of God’s special projects like Jesus, and his guidance and assignments come from the Holy of Holies. The blessing from this is that NO ONE can say that they made him who He is. He is a Pastor because he has been an inspirational voice for the spiritual growth and development of so many, proactive for the needs of the people spiritually and practical, spending countless hours counseling and mentoring the people of God, and preaching holiness or hell. He is a Prophet because God speaks to him specifically concerning the body of Christ collectively and individually. He is an Evangelist because God has given him the charge to go out into the hedges and highways and witness to the lost. He is a Teacher because God has blessed him with an unusual way of interpreting scripture so that even a child understands the word of God.
He loves the Lord with his whole heart, and he seeks to do God's will. He loves to pray and intercede for the people of God daily. He is not entangled in the commercialisms of ministry that has contaminated so many. His heart seeks to bless the people of God. He is at a point in his life, that when he thinks of the goodness of Jesus and all that He has done for him, he becomes overwhelmed with joy, that tears fall from his eyes. He is indeed a weeping Prophet.
Who I'd like to meet: I would like to meet Christians that are highly anointed of God, down to earth, people of truth, people of substance, people of good character, people who love the Lord, people who love to study the word of God, people who love to praise God, people who love people, people who are loving, and people who know have to forgive.
