I was about 5 when I received Jesus. My Mother had told me about Him in a bedtime story. She was an excellent storyteller. She shared His love, death and resurrection.
Then she proceeded to tell my about how great heaven
is and who can go there. Then she told me about the torments of hell and why people go there. It was then that I decided I sure did not want to go to hell so; I knelt beside her bed and asked Jesus to wash away my sins
and come into my heart. He has walked with me ever since and "I Wouldn't Take Nothin' for My Journey NOW!" :-) I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at age 13....another life changing experience.
I would be horrified if God walked into a building and I was untouched, unmoved, non-responsive. I simply could not live in that condition.
How My Friend, please tell me how do I get God to these people? I must know! I must know how to deliver Him to them, because they surely will not let me deliver them to Him. When does a people drop everything they deem important and priority and run to the Lover of their soul? When?.....when do we turn our passions toward Him until we burn so hot and bright, deep and intense that REVIVAL can no longer escape us???? How dear Friend do I get REVIVAL in my city if I cannot get it in my church? How many more tears, groanings, prayers does it take......how much more fasting, crying out......when has the price been paid and when does it release harvest!!!!?????
Somewhere, somehow, some moment, suddenly, He is going to come and once again erupt in the pure genuine move called "revival" IN MY HOUSE! Give me REVIVAL lest I die!
Music
Movies
My all time favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice.
(With Colin Firth)
I have watched NELL over and over, starring Jodie Foster, this movie makes me cry just about every time I watch it. I always want to find Nell and bring healing to her. -- Others: Brave heart, the Patriot, because I love heroes who stand no matter what. (And I really like Mel Gibson! LOL!) I love Victorian movies, time travel movies, great love stories, and rough tough hero movies.
I thrive on reading about REVIVAL.
My all time favorite of course is the Word of God because it never ceases to give me wisdom and understanding of God and life....and it is the only book when applied that brings lasting change.

MYSELF....LOL! 'CAUSE I SURVIVED AND AM ON THE UPWARD TRAIL. STILL STANDING....STILL WALKING WITH THE KING!
I want HIM to find me faithfully waiting, watching, working...I shall occupy till He comes and invades my city...I choose to be a forceful forerunner of HIS mighty wave...I choose to push out the boundaries making room for HIM and to create a platform for HIM that demands HIS exhibition! I will stand and proclaim His gospel, seek His face until He can no longer hesitate to come and pour Himself out in my city. My seasons end has come in Shreveport/Bossier and I am thankful. Thankful for All His blesssings while stationed here, and yet thankful to be reassigned. I am now headed to the place of the "FREE MAN."
“Revival is God being awesome when we can only be normal. It is God being incredible when we settle for mediocrity. Revival is when we may experience what the spiritual sight and sound of a rushing and mighty wind is, when we have been accustomed to only a breeze. Revival is about far more than God’s hand, but it is about the beholding of His face manifesting His glory. God cannot look upon sin except to correct it; but He can look upon holiness that only He can create. When we look upon God with perceptions that in no way reflect His heart, it displeases Him and disappoints Him because His message has been clear. Revival is a statement of God’s identity where there may have been doubt, disbelief and even shallow, immature persuasion. Revival is God’s sovereign and providential declaration that He is the only authority of mankind and that His holiness trumpets justice, in order for Him to truly be seen as the only source of all that is holy,
so no man may doubt that He is REVIVAL!”
"Psalms 118:4 Let them now that
fear the LORD say, that his mercy
endureth for ever. 5 I called upon
the LORD in distress: the LORD
answered me, and set me in a
large place. 6 The LORD is on my
side; I will not fear: what can man
do unto me?
Proverbs 11:8 The righteous is
delivered out of trouble, and the
wicked cometh in his stead.
Romans 8:31 What shall we then
say to these things? If God be for
us, who can be against us?"
To stand strong in this spiritual
battle is our part. It is God's
power that provides the victory
when we stand strong. Our God
fights for us.

“What
is the secret of life? As Christ is our substitute in death, so also is He our
substitute in life. Just as it is great news that we need not die, so it is
great news that we need not live.” Jesus Christ has already succeeded in living
a holy and righteous life on earth. He longs to do it again and again through
the lives of His people.
You
are a great friend! Thanks for all of your comments and pics. Have a wonderful

I wonder sometimes, if it wasn't for all the times God blindsides me, He may never get anything accomplished with me. LOL God used Pastor Denny's sermon Sunday to show me a few things and praise God! I had a paradigm shift last night. Now I am back on track. Yeah! I can see clearly now, the clouds are gone.... la la la la
