    Seeing the saints healed, the world saved and the devil running, bullying religion is always fun. I am also a major league MMA freak, in fact, I teach it at my churches. Mixed Martial Arts + militant Christianity = scared religious folks and devils.

  • Music

    Been listening to a lot of Bluegrass lately. Old George Jones and the Allison Krauss bluegrass Gospel stuff. I also dig Paul Thorn's stuff, especially Mission Temple Fireworks Stand. Yeah, I know he's a heathen but we have similar backgrounds and I know where he's coming from about religious hypocrites.

    History Channel mostly. I also like Iconoclasts on Sundance. Other than that, it's MMA and BoSoX/Pats.

    Lectures on Revival- Charles Finney, Why Revival Tarries- Leonard Ravenhill, Fresh Fire- Mario Murillo, Rees Howells, intercessor. Also, I like Animal Farm and 1984 by George Orwell, Shogun, Tom Clancy novels and anything from Watchman Nee.

    George Whitefield, Jonathan Edwards, Evan Roberts, Wigglesworth, A.A. Allen, William Branham, Oral Roberts, Winkie Pratney, Watchman Nee, Mario Murillo, Copeland and Hagin would all say that the only hero worth mentioning is Jesus.

JC is an ex-skinhead and punk rocker who has been on the revival trail for over 16 years.
We believe that ours is a generation that the enemy greatly desired to kill off. Since the passing of Roe v Wade, 50 million of our generation has been systematically slaughtered in the name of convenience. In the 80's and 90's unprecedented gang violence further reduced our numbers and terrified an entire nation. From Punks to Skinheads, Bangers to pushers and prostitutes, no generation in the history of America was so defiled and debased by the enemy. We were, beyond contestation, dead in our sin and discarded by the world.

And it is this very generation that God will use to wake up his sleeping church and plunder hell to populate heaven. This is the Lazarus Generation; a generation loosed from the bonds of sin and death and resurrected by the power of God. Still wrapped in our grave clothes as we stumble into the light, Jesus' command is to "Loose him and let him go!" (John 11:44)

Preaching a straight word that does not compromise, seeing the sick healed and devils cast out , restoring the roots of the Pentecostal church, empowering the working class and above all, living a life that screams "by life or death, may Christ be magnified!"

That is the heart of JC Smith and American Pentecost.
