On December 31, 1998, history revealed its third
generation of "Williams Preaching Brothers," as Joseph
L. Williams accepted his call to the ministry. Joseph
attended Woodward Academy, graduating in May of 1996,
where he received many athletic awards and honors. From the eyes
of man, it appeared that he was destined for a professional career in
sports. However, step-by-step, God called His trusting and obedient
servant into paths that He ordered.
Joseph graduated from Morehouse College in May 2000,
with a degree in Corporate Finance and a minor in Economics.
May of 2003 he graduated from McAfee Theological
Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. Currently, Pastor
Williams is working on his doctorate of ministry. He has
been in Mercer's program since January of 2005. He is planning on
completing this six year program in four years.
