Pastor Wynn was born in Reno, Nevada to the Late Rev. Willie & Rochelle Wynn. He is the only son of nine children. In 1991 he married his wife Edith and from this union, they have eight beautiful children. At the age of 25, he began his pastoral ministry. He is currently the pastor of “One Church in Multiple Locations" Sacramento; Reno and Las Vegas.
He is the Trustee Board Chairman for the Nevada Jurisdiction and the District Superintendent of Greater Northern Nevada. He was one of the first pastors to join the newly created Nor Cal Metro Jurisdiction in 2001. Bishop Macklin appointed him the State Youth President as well as the Jurisdictional AIM Chairman. Pastor Wynn established a television ministry called “SET FREE” which currently airs on a cable channel in Sacramento and “Live” services weekly through Streaming Faith at www.johnwynnministries.org.
He is the President of New Levels Community Development Corporation; an approved training facility for the Southern Nevada Workforce Investment Board. In partnership with the Clark County School District they offer Adult Education Classes. In 2004 they began offering Child Development Associate Classes through the National Counsel for Professional Recognition in Washington D.C. Pastor Wynn also provides Youth Mentorship Training through California Alcohol and Rehabilitation Education Program.
He is the owner of New Levels Child Care Center; Wynn Family Apparel Clothing Store and J & E Publishing Company. He is a business owner; a producer; songwriter and author of the book titled, “New Levels, New Devils”. His new book titled “Wrestling With God” will be released in April 2008. He is a 2008 Precinct Delegate for the Democratic Party for Presidential Hopeful: Barack Obama. Pastor Wynn’s main objective is to win souls for Christ, birth his vision and keep the charge that the Lord has given to him to… PREACH, PRAY AND PROPHESY!

Im sick and tired of the devil continually! acusing my brethren day and nite to the Father, also that man is always looking for a excuse to deny God. Its partly our fault cause we compremise with sin and use grace and mercy as a scape goat. When will we silence the foolish man and let the Father of Glory be the almighty. Every storm we in we cry not realizing there is deliverance in the wilderness. We wanna kick our feet back while Jesus wash feet. We wanna be great with out being the servant!! We want gifts press down shaken without being givers!! Church been weak for some time. How i yearn for the early church exsperience. Its time for a revival, but the church wont put there hands to the plow till they need the hand of God for there situation. Holy Ghost!! loose conviction apon us, in Jesus mighty name, amen!!
