About me:

Photobucket I am a very happily married woman and a very happy Mom. I am a school teacher by trade, but am currently teaching at home. I love to paint, sing, read, write, and spend time with my family. I have great friends, too. I believe that life is good, and the few bumps that hit along the way are there to just remind us to appreciate the good we have.....

Who I'd like to meet:

People that believe that life is worth living and not just existing in. We have to sometimes leave our comfort zones and move toward the unknown and express ourselves. We can never make a difference in life if we sit back and just wait for things to happen.

Interests

  • General

I love singing, painting, playing the guitar, and writing. I just wish I had more time to do them all.
    Photobucket
  • Music

I love all types of music, except, of course, heavy metal and rap. Screaming is not even close to being music; maybe because I have children.
  • Movies

I love horror movies without the blood and gore, just the good ole "wow" that was scary kind. George C Scott in the classic "The Changeling" was awesome.
  • Television

Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Medium, BattleStar Galactica, Dr. Who, and Big Love. I have learned through television: that I don't want to have a plural marriage; doctors have lousy personal lives; not all married women are created equal; psychic powers are not like they appear on televisio; and even a woman can fly a space ship (so where's mine?)
  • Books

I love to read. I will keep reading a book until the end even if the book is boring and may make better kindle. I would love to have the peace and quiet and the time to finish writing mine.
  • Heroes

My husband and my children are my heroes. My husband has to be one of the most loving and supportive men that I've ever met. My children stand by me even during my bouts of insanity and love me for it instead of in spite of it.
