Clapton, Dylan, Hendrix, Winter, CSNY and Richie, Knopfler, Cray, Johnson, Johnson, Johnson, the one and only Buddy Guy, the immortal Otis Redding. Blues, rock, R & B, soul, country.
I grew up listening to some great Southern soul and R&B from artists such as Irma Thomas, Professor Longhair, Slim Harpo, Rufus Thomas, Clarence Frogman Henry, and Aaron Neville.
Started as a French Quarter street singer. Transplanted to Colorado where I've played guitar, bass, and mandolin as a solo and in a variety of
bands. I've played folk, rock, country, and bluegrass, but I always loved Blues the best.
Put Yourself In My Place is a gospel blues song with inspiration from Blind Willie Johnson.
