Pat Fonte's first influences started as heavy metal but then his musical taste grew and so did the sound of his music. He now gets influence from heavy yet melodic rock, techno, pop, rap, classical, and just about anything. Fonte gets most of his influnce from Jesus Christ.
Sounds Like
Pat Fonte has a mix of heavy yet melodic rock guitar and melodic vocals. The bass also playes a big part and prominent drums gives it a cool beat.
Pat Fonte started out playing bass and swiched to guitar about 3 years ago. His acoustic band, Courtside View, then joined with some other musicians to form a rock band called Hit the Deck, where he was lead singer and guitarist. Differences in tastes of music lead him to move on however, and he then set out on a solo project. Pat Fonte plays all his own instruments on the recording and writes all of his own music. He has just finished the CD "In Reach Out of Touch". GET IT ON iTUNES NOW

Word of Life Christian Fellowship 508 Second Ave. Galloway, NJ 08205
WXGN is hosting a 9/11 Memorial Concert - THE UNBREAKABLE TOUR with FIREFLIGHT, Nevertheless, and Me In Motion on Thursday, 9/11, 7PM at Word of Life Christian Fellowship, 508 S. Second Ave. Galloway, NJ 08205.
The purpose of the concert is threefold. First, it is to bring artists that we play regularly on-air to the area for our listeners to enjoy at a modest price. Second, it is to reach teens and young adults with the Message of the Gospel through the music of the artists involved, and any words they might share. Third, it is to REMEMBER the fallen victems of 9/11, the soldiers that have served in the ongoing War on Terror, and those firefighters and rescue personel who so readily gave of themselves, preferring others, just as we are commanded to do in Scripture. This third part will be done with a brief memorial service before the concert, and through the giviing of alms, in this case, all profits from the concert.
WXGN is asking you to attend, or just buy a ticket even if you cannot attend to help enusre a sizable donation to the local volunteer fire and rescue squads. In order to do this, we need 300 tickets sold. The artists performimg usually play to crowds in the thousands, so less than 1/3 of a single thousand should not be that difficult; howver, advance ticket sales are telling a different story. South Jersey residents need to pick up the baton, and do their part, and have an enjoyable night in the process.
This is a 2-2 1/2 hour event, start to finish, so it is not a late night out for students and workers. Please spread the word, and please purchase a ticket or two, or three, etc. 1-800-965-9324
