Whirling Diva

Bio:

Whirling Diva was founded by band leader, Pat Hopkins in the mid 90's and over the years the band has had many inceptions, incarnations and changing players. Pat writes all the original lyrics and music for Whirling Diva, and she plays all the instruments except drums on her recordings. Pat's music has been played on KROQ and KPFK radio stations, as well as several internet radio shows in the US and Great Britain. She has also had her music videos played on several local Los Angeles tv cable music shows. Prior to forming Whirling Diva, Pat played bass and/or rhythm guitar and sang lead and harmony vocals in several original rock and new wave punk bands including: The JumpJets, The Lounge Puppies, XLNT, OKBYE, Purple Rising and Melissa Etheridge as well as several other bands not mentioned here.
